Iron-On Transfers for Quilt Labels Paperback – January 1, 1999

I ironed one of the book's transferrable labels onto a corner of a quilt I had made and signed -- for posterity.

Product was OLD when my wife received it. Some of the transfers were no good due to fading from extreme heat previous to her receiving them. She has used some of them but some are worthless.

The transfers are cute but they are to large for my quilts. I also use 100% cotton fabric and need cotton blend for the transfers to be permanent.

Not what I expected. I made a quilt for my daughter and there was really no label for family. Not much room for a personal message either.

I liked it.

I haven't used these yet, but a friend uses them all the time. I looking forward to trying them. The price is right, too.

Note to self: never buy a used transfer again. I wasn't able to use one of the labels, a total waste of money.

Always remember to label your quilt and now I have some wonderful templates!!Nice selection of labels for all occasions.

There are many labels in this booklet, but some of the ink has transferred across so I am not sure how they would come out. I have to say that since ordering this, quite a while ago, I have made a quilt label myself and am very pleased with it. Therefore I think that someone who has the skill to make a quilt will also have the skill to make a label to suit the quilt.Maybe some of these could be useful for other items, but somehow I doubt if I will use them. Rather, I may copy some of the designs and adapt for my own use.

i love this book, it provides the finishing flourish to my hand crafted creations.easy to use tranfers, re-usable too. a sentiment for most occasions. beautiful.
