Bosch MultiTalent 8 MC812S734G 1200 W Food Processor - White & Stainless Steel

Excellent piece of kit for baking and cooking. Replaced an older and smaller Bosch I had for many years.

Very satisfied with the purchase. I have tried many new recipes.

Good quality as you would expect with Bosch. The only problem is the liquidiser leaks at the bottom. The chopping blades are removable for easy cleaning/replacement.. which is good. But I put mine in the dishwasher which does the job. I've tried tightening the chopping blade assembly, removed, reseated the rubber seal but it still leaks! Also, the little plastic plug on top of the lid also leaks. Not a major leaks and can be easily cleaned but I wouldn't expect this from Bosch! Overall, it's an excellent food processor but only 4 stars for the problem leaks! Update 2 years within buying and with about a week still under guarantee.. Plugged it in and failed to work, checked fuse.. OK. Thankfully Bosch service centre honoured their two year guarantee. Sent it off for repair or replacement!

My wife has been trying for months to replace her old processor and I have ordered and returned several which did not meet her exacting standards. The main problem she had with most of the others was the gap between the discs and the feed. Food would get trapped and not processed and she would waste a lot of time reverting to a knife to chop up the missed pieces. Those days are passed. She is delighted to report that it is even better than her old one which she used for many years. Thank you Braun for saving me (and Amazon) the anguish and hassle of returns. The only slight criticism she has is that there are raised mouldings on the inside of the bowl. I would imagine that they are to add strength but they could have been set on the outside. This wouldn't have been as pretty but would be more practical. Nevertheless it's not enough of an issue to dock any stars. Great piece of kit!

This unit is very poorly designed indeed. Cleaning will be extremely difficult and will require significant dismantling for some parts. The handle is hollow and contains a safety mechanism that is not fully sealed, so should organic matter find its way in, cleaning that would likely be impossible. The attachments are weakly made and don't operate very smoothly, leading to the conclusion that this item is unlikely to have a very long life. The instructions are extremely poor and in fact do not make any sense in places, possibly due to poor translation. Certain commonly used accessories are not included, so would require an additional purchase, and individually these parts are disproportionately expensive. This is not a high quality unit and the price should reflect that.

I have had nothing but rave reviews from my son and daughter in law, they love this excellent machine for it's versatility, build strength, ease of cleaning and they can't stop experimenting with different recipes.

I ordered this Food processor as a brand new, so I was really surprised to see the box was damaged. Moreover, the inside, the stainless front was covered by fingerprints all over! I have never seen fingerprints covered brand "new" machines before. Are those fingerprints from their Chinese factory or actually, is this a second hand? In this Corvid era, I was a bit concerned. Looking at the quality..this is made of the cheaper end of plastic. So those two factors, I had to return the machine. Instead, I purchased Braun FP5160 (not from Amazon but) even though that rating of that machine was not so perfect on web, I am very happy with the built and material quality of Braun that is certainly better. So I realised I have to go with my instinct rather than just based on someone else's Amazon reviews, should trust the favourite brands. But....I like Bosh electric kettle with temperature control that is excellent so..don't know what happened to the plastic quality of their food processor ...

This is the best food processor I have ever used! I’m a professional Chef and have worked with every type of model out there from the cheap to the expensive, this one takes the cake! The grating and slicing disks sit up close to the inside of the lid efficiently processing ingredients without leaving bits stuck, the large bowl gives room for large mixes and quantities, and the attachments are easy to change over. This is a noisy machine but it gets the job done and for a great price who’s complaining about a little noise?!

this foodprocessor didn't work right from the start. The blender yes, but not the cuttingmachine....

Excellent machine 👏 very handy and powerful

We tried making a simple coriander chutney in the main processor bowl with the metal blades. The machine just could not handle it, even the coriander was not getting chopped. I think this is because the main metal blade is too small and also it is totally blunt. We then transferred everything into the blender jar thinking this will do it. Well that failed as well and could not really blend the chutney like our little 900W Nutribullet does (not even close). The whole thing just felt a bit underpowered and felt like it was just rotating the food about and not really chopping/blending. The blender jar also leaks even thought it is completed tightened. And it leaks into the motor mechanism, talk about bad design. Giving it 2 stars as the lemon juicer adaptor seemed to work OK, you would expect it to for a 1200W motor!
