I bought 3 packets in October 2018. Expiry date April 2020. They are no where near as good as the 1970's version.

can this beef curry be microwaved

The product is made up of dried ingredients and needs to be reconstituted. I cooked this product on the hob and in a microwave. I always cook the rice in the microwave, the sauce when cooked in the microwave needs to be stirred during the cooking process as you would do if using a traditional hob.

How can this be Vesta when it’s no longer manufactured

Because it is still produced by Vesta (part of Premier Foods). They stopped making Paella in 2021 but still make Beef Curry and Chow Mein - just that supermarkets have stopped stocking it (I used to see it in Tesco, Asda and Morrisons but not recently).

What is the expiry date of this current stock?

It's been a few years since I bought mine. Their expiry date is April 2023. I suppose you have already contacted the seller? I doubt that I will bother with these last 2 packets. The recipe has changed quite a bit in 40 years.
