Arrived in perfect condition and, just to be extra safe, the book was plastic-wrapped, inside it's paper parcel packaging. It really is a gorgeous looking book with it's golden-gilded edges and decorative leather cover. It also has a bookmark attached. As for the story itself: What prompted me to buy this was that I'm listening to an audiobook version and thoroughly enjoying it. I've not finished it yet but there are some really sad and really happy, beautiful moments and I'm beginning to get some insight as to why this is considered one of *the* great works of fiction. A fairly lengthy but thoroughly enjoyable story.

Anna Karenina is my daughter’s favourite book and I bought this as a gift. She loves this copy. It is beautifully presented and I would definitely recommend it

This review is obviously not about the novel but the edition. It is simply beautiful, the characters are of a comfortable size for the eyes and the line space is also wide enough for a comfortable reading.
