Q: Is the usb just for usb modems, or can you use it with a cell phone to share it's connection?

With the OpenWRT firmware, this is possible, but it might take a bit more configuration than you care for. What you want to do is set up "USB tethering" on your cell phone (not every phone plan and phone model supports this, but I believe most Android phones can and probably iPhones), and configure the router with the settings you'll find on the OpenWRT wiki in the article called USB Tethering (google it, amazon doesn't like URLs). It can then share the connection over wifi or the ethernet ports, or really anything you care to script for the OpenWRT firmware.

Q: Is this limited to 100mbs, or does it support gigabit? i assume if it were gige, it would say somewhere.

Both Ethernet ports are 100mbs. Wireless N is up to 150mbs.

You are right, the manuall is not on their website anymore.But this router uses OpenWrt: https://openwrt.org/All the documentation for OpenWrt is online.The basic interface that you get when you access the router is very simple and straightforward.For anything more advanced, you have to use the OpenWrt interface.You can access the openwrt interface via the "Advanced Button" on the interface.You can also see some specific information about OpenWrt on this router via wiki page: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/gl-inet/gl-ar150I hope this will help

Worked as advertized, and well.

I am very happy with this little winner. I wanted a WiFi access point all to myself in the house - as others video stream from the main one and hence it gets congested. This little one did ther job perfectly.

Good value for money

Item arrived promptly and as described by seller.This mini router is a nice and powerful device which does the job for me, i.e. it provides remote OpenVPN access to Modbus TCP instruments via local access to the web (WAN or WiFi ports).Note: I needed port forwarding from VPN to LAN and this required firmware update to 3.100 and doing port forwarding under Advanced menu.

Great for installing Gargoyle Router, wifi strength could be better

This small device is great. I installed Gargoyle router on it. The wifi strength is not great though.
