Great for a 2005 scion xb.
Wow I got this for my 2005 Scion xB gen one and it fits a little tight but that's ok I don't want it to be moving while I drive. The only thing I don't like is the cup holder fill really cheap plastic and flimsy could break easily.

Watch where you place your hands when pushing down on the console to install it.
For the most part, this console is exactly what I was looking for since my 2005 xB didn’t come with a driver’s side armrest like later models did. Putting it in wasn’t too difficult once I figured out how it was pieced together. There were picture instructions but no writing on them for additional clarification. It doesn’t slide into the cup holder as easily as it should have and while pushing it down as hard as I could, I broke the back cup holder of the console so make sure to not place your hand on it while pushing it in. The console doesn’t push fully into my cup holder but it doesn’t move when I rest my arm on it while driving, which is what I wanted. It does have quite a bit of storage so while you lose the back cup holder for coins and doodads like I did the console makes up for it plenty. And you’ll get the cup holder back if you don’t push down on it and break it while installing it like I did. All in all, it’s useful and my arm finally gets a place to rest.

A much needed accessory!
Bought this for a friend who is a VIP taxi driver and his car is a Scion xB.He always complained how he missed having an armrest and when he found this item on Amazon, he asked me to purchase it with my Prime account so it would arrive as soon as possible.Now he often tells me how happy he is with his purchase. It is very comfortable with sufficient storage capacity. I like how it doesn’t look much like an after market item as well.This is an item that should’ve been part of the car from manufacturing, but it’s great that you have the option to get it.You will not regret it.
