Thankfully I have this in my office and usually have a fan going which provides some white noise. If I didn't, I'd be returning this ... the 2nd hand clicking is LOUD (tick! Tick! TICK!) It's a nice looking clock and easy to read, but not sure if I'll ever get past the loud ticking.

Within 3 weeks, the clock stopped working. Changed the battery twice just to be sure, and each time it stopped working again within 24 hours.

This Howard Miller Corporate Wall Clock is really nice. I don't know why the adjective "corporate" is used in their description - it looks great in our family room and is easily visible. It has kept accurate time for the month or so we have owned it. In a very quiet room a faint tick-tock is audible but one has to listen for it carefully. A non-issue in our household. Highly recommended!

I purchased a few cheap wall clocks at chain stores over the years and they didn't keep the time well. This is a good sturdy clock that is working well. It's large and easy to see. Just what I wanted. My only complaint is that it's slightly hard to hang. You have to use a nail, you can't use a hook (or at least I couldn't figure out how to use a hook). Perhaps the manufacturer could include a recommended hook or whatever on which to hang the clock.

I purchased this clock to use in my family room above the mantel. I find it to be quite attractive and easy to read from 15 to 20 feet away. It has kept good time and the wooden trim matches the mantle and beams in the room. I first tried one of the automatic setting and daylight savings time auto adjust clocks, but found that unit to be a lot more trouble than it was worth in setting and adjusting if needed was difficult. This Corporate clock is easy to set and I can adjust it easily if I need to do so. I am well pleased with it.

This was a lot smaller than I thought it was based in the online picture.

It is much easier to read with the convex glass, no shadows, and surprisingly quiet for my sensitive grandchild's bedroom. Wood is beautifully cut. This piece should last unlike the junk nowadays. I am buying one for myself.Keeps time too.
