I was disappointed opening the case. The razor knife mechanism broke coming out of the box rendering it useless: very flimsy and cheap. The pencils themselves are only so- so. Cheap plastic sharpeners and paper sanding block round out the kit. I haven’t tried drawing with the pencils and probably won’t. Don’t waste your money. If you’re at all serious about drawing spend a few more dollars and get a quality set.

This little sketching set was purchased for my homeschooled daughter as it was needed for her art class. It has everything her curriculum required, and it's very conveniently secured in a carrying case that keeps everything you need in one place. I highly recommend this item for academic, professional and recreational use!

Although the pencils are very useful the colored ones it comes with keep breaking. At first I thought it was the sharpeners so i got another I have and they still didn’t work. These keep breaking and aren’t able to sharpen without breaking its point.

It was a gift for my 11year old son who is beginning to draw. He was excited about all of the items in it and loves having a case to carry everything. It would be nice if the drawing pads it came with could fit inside the case

This was purchased as a gift for my 12 year old grandson. He loves it! He said it is everything he asked for and more. It is perfect for someone who enjoys doing this as a past time or just starting to develop the love of art.

I recently had surgery and wanted to do something other than watch tv while I recovered. I starting some simple sketches and they came out great. The kit was everthing I needed to get started.

This is a simple, cheap, but complete pencil set. I took out he charcoal and put in a black pen, an eraser and a sharpener. I bought a replacement sketch pad. It's easy to take and my grandkids love it.

I like it quite a lot. I bought it for a drawing course that is required for my degree, but I don't love drawing so I didn't want to buy an expensive set when I know I'll only use it for a year of university. I've only used the pencils, sharpeners, and erasers so far, and am very happy with them. Haven't yet touched the charcoal, willow, or pastel pencil. The regular pencils perform very well on Stongehenge paper, especially the B half of the set.

I am a 63 yr old beginner in sketching and drawing and this kit has everything I need to get started. It is exactly as shown. I would also not hesitate giving it as a gift to anyone interested in trying out there skills or in my case lack of skills but wanting to learn. The paper it came with is lovely but for now, I put it away and am using a sketch pad as practice. I am happy with my purchase.

I have not use anything yet but the kit seem really beginner friendly. This kit as every thing you could need to start drawing. It came un a plastic bag, the sketch book was also in a plastic bag. The pages of the sketch book are really thin but seems good for practicing
