The media could not be loaded. Picked this knife up after reading several reviews. I have always appreciated KAI knives and their workmanship and designs. The Natrix is no exception. This is a decent size, light and sturdy knife perfect for EDC. I look forward to putting this knife to the test!

Solid, well made knife
It's a bit big for my every day carry around town but I intend to use it when camping. Perfect size and configuration for that. Well made, solid lockup of blade and blade stays fixed and is secure with no looseness in the hinge. Opens easily but no assist so I won't run into trouble in places were that may be questioned.All in all a great knife!

Good camping knife
If you don't anticipate having to cut fire wood, the size and weight of this knife make it pretty solid for backpacking. Blade arrived sharp and centered but with a hint of play.+ 4.1 ounces for a 3.75" blade+ Very secure blade lock mechanism eliminates gravitational or accidental opening+ G10 handle is light and resilient- Lock mechanism takes effort to disengage- Flipper/finger guard prevents knife from functioning optimally for food prep

SHARP!! Shaving sharp.
I have been carrying this knife since the day it arrived. This has to be one of the sharpest, right out of the box, knives I have had in a long time. Shaving sharp. And it's retained this edge well so far. Smooth opening action. I'm not 100% sold on the frame lock. It seems that unless you place your thumb on just the right spot it's difficult to unlock. I sit and practice with it to get used to the lock.

Nice & big
Nice, big, but not too heavy. The G10 scales are grippy and I like the blade shape. My only critique is that the pocket clip is rather short.

Better than I expected.
Well you hear all kinds of bad things about Chinese knives this ain't one of them. I know it's got Chinese steel but it holds the edge better than other knife's that I own. Really slim and relatively light for its size. For the money you can't go wrong!
