The #1 thing a breaker must do is work at its rated current. This doesn't do that.I have this 250 amp version hooked up to my Motorhome's 2500W inverter. I have 2/0 cable going from the battery, through this breaker to the inverter. I turn on the 1400W coffee pot in the morning and it trips. That should only be about 120A at the 12.5 v my Lithium battery is pretty good at staying above. Even if it is surging a bit this should handle it no problem. I verified that this inverter is drawing 1375w at 120v with the coffee pot on. The breaker should not trip at that load. I suspect that the put a 250A label on a 100A breaker.Confirmed. Just installed in place a 250 amp American made breaker and everything worked fine. All I did was switch the breaker out and 2 lugs 2/0 (3/8" hole) and everything worked fine. The new breaker was 3x as much but that is definitely worth it. Unfortunately this one's ceramic broke so I can't return it.This is one instance where being cheap cost me money.

Great breaker! Feels sturdy, trips right above 50A sustained. The twisting cable glands are nice but I had to put a couple layers of electrical tape on the wire's insulation to get a good seal on 6awg conductors.

Fast shipping. Seems to be well made. Have not installed it in my boat yet, will update review later on.
