Tame Silk
Smells lovely. Works well. Leaves my hair softer than any other shampoo I’ve used, but with a smooth finish.

Anti-frizz? I think I needed more of a moisture masque BUT
This stuff is really soft and has a nice fresh scent!

Tangled up my Hair
I wish I had something good to say. I have very thick and coarse here at almost 60 years old. The shampoo did nothing but jangle my hair up pretty badly. I don't advise using it it didn't help at all with any frizz.

Wavy hair

A little does not go a long way
I wish this was one of those "a little goes a long way," but it isn't. I have been using this shampoo for a few weeks. Currently it is summer and it is when my hair goes into its frizz glory thanks to the humidity. I have to say that this shampoo has done a decent job of dealing with the frizz. My hair is handling the frizz well. For background, my hair is very oily and I wash it every other day regardless. If I have exercised, then it is definitely getting washed regardless of the day. I like that this shampoo does not leave my hair too oily. The fragrance is very mild. VERY. It smells ok but it is barely there. Try to press your just-washed-hair to your nose and inhale...you get a nice hint of a scent that is barely there.I have very fine hair, so volume is something non-existent for me. But, my hair is even more limp after using this shampoo. Not even twisting it up whilst wet to get some curls into it will yield results.I have to use the same amount of shampoo as your leading brand (Suave, Treseme, etc) to get the same amount of a proper wash. This is a small bottle. It will not last long.

Helps beat the frizzies
I was not familiar with Mystic Botanicals when some of their products were offered to me through the Amazon Vine program. According to this web page, the Mystic Botanicals founder and formulator is Prakash Purohit, who was the creator of the original iconic Aveda products. Aveda products have a good reputation. Although they are pricey, I have liked the Aveda products I have used. So I was interested in trying out these less expensive Mystic Botanicals products that were available in my Vine selection. My daughter and I have been experimenting with these Mystic Botanicals products and have liked all of them so far. This anti-frizz shampoo has a pleasant fragrance and helps calm the frizzies, especially when used in conjunction with the tousle spray or styling cream. We have been pleased with the results. One negative we noticed about Mystic Botanicals is their containers. The products are in thin white plastic contains with purple labels attached. The purple on this shampoo label is getting scratched off after just a few uses (see picture). It does not look very nice and I assume it will get worse as it is continued to be used.Overall, we have really liked the reasonably-priced Mystic Botanicals product line and recommend their products.

Not so helpful with frizz, have to use a lot
Aside from a nice, subtle scent (which if you like more strongly scented shampoos you can notice after the shower, this might not be for you), you have to use quite a bit to get a clean feel. At the same time, it’s nice that this doesn’t strip your hair as much, so you are less likely to overdry. The thing is, my hair was frizzier than usual with this, and I even used it with a companion product aimed to helping with frizz control. The ingredients were nice and so was the scent, but overall, I didn’t get the results I was hoping for.
