BEWARE: This charger may very well damage your phone!!!
BEWARE: This charger may very well damage your phone! I purchased this charger because it looks nice and I wanted something to act like a dock next to my bed. I say "act" because it is not a dock as far as Android is concerned. If you want something to engage the desk clock app on Samsung phones or the Android Daydream mode, this will not work because wireless chargers do not trigger the two aforementioned modes, ever. You can configure Daydream to turn on whenever the phone is charging instead of just when docked, but that isn't the point.Regarding the reason for the poor rating: Most, if not all, wireless chargers will cycle the charging when the battery reaches 100%. From the research I've done, you don't want a trickle charger for a lithium ion battery because the battery can eventually be damaged with the continuous charge that trickle chargers provide. Instead, you want a charger that will charge to 100%, shut off, and then turn back on when the battery drops a few percentage points. Because I have this by my bed, I was woken up several times when the charger would cycle on and off as previously described; however, I began to notice that it was cycling more than normal.Because of this, I decided to install an app that would log the power cycles each day and list each connect/disconnect event with a timestamp. I was shocked by the results. First, I sat the phone on the Samsung wireless charger overnight to get a baseline. The log showed the charger brought the battery to 100%, shut off, and about 3-4 hours later, turned back on when the battery dropped to about 93-95%. Next I did this with the wireless charger discussed in this review, using a 2-amp Samsung power brick and the USB cable provided with the dock. When I checked the log the next day I couldn't believe what I saw. The wireless charger brought the battery up to 100% and then began power cycling 4-6 times PER MINUTE, all while the battery was still at 100% without so much as a drop to 99%. This added up to over 200 charge/discharge cycles over the 8 hours I was in bed!!! I have the logs to share with anyone who doubts this, and with that I know about lithium ion batteries, this behavior would absolutely destroy the battery in a short amount of time. The lesson I learned is that looks aren't everything. Be sure to do your homework before you buy and verify functionality after you buy as well!

This is my second 3 coil wireless charger purchase. First one was from an unnamed chineese brand and although its also working fine, I purchased this one because it is folding. So far I'm very pleased with the product. Especially its folding feature is great as you are able to give any angle you want. Its build quality is also very good. My only (very minor) complaint is that it has green light which is always on. They put it there because it turns to blue while charging so it can tell you its status but its position is all wrong because when you put your phone on the charger, it goes off the light so you cant see it at all. On the other hand since there is no on/off switch you keep seeing it when there is no phone charging. :) So its completely pointless but like I said this is a very minor thing which does not effect the quality of the product.

Great Qi charger for travel. Not fussy about phone placement or protective phone cases like some chargers.
I bought this Qi charger for my wife to use with her Google Nexus 6 (Motorola/gen2) Android smartphone. Many chargers are fussy about working if the phone even has a protective cover on it. I'm pleased to say this one works flawlessly with the case on. We even tested it with cardboard slavers and it still worked through approximately 4mm of slavers plus the protective case!Because the charger is equipped with 3 coils (which are spaced to cover the entire charging surface), the phone starts charging the moment it is put in place without any of the precise positioning that some Qi chargers need. The way that it folds closed makes it perfect for travelling and it also positions it just right for using your phone as a bedside night clock (with a good app that dims the display). The charger was very well received and my lengthy research paid off!

great wireless charger for all wirelessly charged phones - even WiMAX
Update:this charger is still working like a champ 5 years and multiple phone upgrades later. Hubby uses it every night. And now our newest phone. My iPhone 12 pro Max (inside a wallet case that supports WiMAX Charging) charges on this 5yr old charging stand. 5 stars again!!! Love the compact-ability and durability. Highly recommend!!!Excellent wireless charger. Works great with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in a Casemate clear case. Must buy/bring your own charger. Use a rapid/fast charge one. I used a Qualcom fast charge power supply I purchased separately here on Amazon. It was highly highly rated by a tech site. Very happy with this purchase.

Work with good build quality but without any light indication whether the phone is charging or not. You have to turn on the phone to know. There is a beep to indicate the phone is properly place on the charger but no continuous feed back light to indicate it is charging like the Raynic Orchard II QI Charger.

Great angles... Hot charger...
Sort-of worked. I love the adjustable angle. The unit would get hot after phone was at 100% charge. It seemed to not stop charging when phone was fully charged. Doubtful it is completely Qi compliant. My Nokia DT-910 causes the phone to say " Fully Charged" and stops charging/does not get hot. Loved the idea of 3-coil charging for better placement angles but no major brand seems to have adopted this practice; maybe that's a hint that it has issues. Now using the dock as a holder while plugged in. Probably worth 10$-15$ as an adjustable landscape phone holder.

Doesn't work well with iPhones
I use this with my iPhone 6plus and a Deeteck Qi Wireless Charger Receiver. It suffers from a problem I have with most Qi chargers: after the phone finishes charging it starts vibrating. This is too distracting to leave the phone on the charger. I have found that Nokia DT900 chargers don't have this problem.
