Coast Guard Cutter for the Christmas tree
This is not the exact ship my son is assigned to, but it's pretty close. It appears to be made of solid plastic, with some decals and some hand painted details. It says on the package for display only, not a toy, so I would not allow small children to play with it

This is a really nice ornament. Bought for my newly joined Grandson. I wish there was a Cutter to go with it. I did not know this was an ice breaker. But, It is still nice and he really likes it.

Perfect for Coast Guard grandson!!
I have given ornaments to each of my kids and 11 grandkids every Christmas— writing their name and year on them. This one was perfect for my Coast Guard grandson!! He loved it and has added to his box of 22 other ornaments!!
