This is the One to Buy!
When I decided to seek an alternative to my $165 DirecTV bill I immediately thought of an antennae. The problem is I live far away (about 40+ miles as the crow flies) from transmissions sources (NYC) and did not expect much. TV Fool said it was going to be iffy. I had an old style antennae in my attic which just received a garbled signal. Originally I planned on ordering a Mohu Striker which is the newest in their lineup. As of the date of this review it is not yet publicly listed on their website (If you call them they will give you the link).I saw that the Tree New Bee products all got very good reviews but was skeptical. How could a $23 antennae produce a great signal? I figured for $23 I am willing to take a shot. I received the product knowing there was some assembly required. There are many parts to put together but they are all mostly snap on or attached with wing nuts. It took maybe five minutes. Installation was a snap as I just removed the old antennae from the pole mounting and attached the new one. This antennae does require a power source to operate the rotation motor and amplifier. The remote control for rotation worked flawlessly. I hooked it up and immediately started a channel scan. To my great surprise it picked up 63 channels. Not all were usable but more than 40 were. Those that were broadcasting HD came in sharp and flawless.I can't say enough about this product. It is doing what other products six times the price promise. Please note that while this product says it comes with a mounting pole, it does not. I will be contacting Amazon Customer Service so they can correct the description. In my case, I had an existing pole already mounted.

DOES NOT COME WITH MOUNTING POLE
If part of your decision is based on the description where it says comes with mounting pole, well it didn't. It has a mount hole for a pole but NO pole included. Just wanted to make that clear. However, as far as its performance goes it's more than twice as good as the cheap square looking antennas that stick to a window. Went from about 40 scanned channels to 142 channels with this new antenna. Deducted 1 star for having NO mounting pole in the package (that's deceptive).

Great Antenna - Unreliable Rotator
The antenna gets great reception... But the Rotator is weird and unreliable. First, the remote has two buttons to rotate the antenna while the base only has one button. On the remote's two buttons, you would think that one button would rotate the antenna in one direction, and the other button would rotate in the other. But not so. Also the one button on the base, when you push it multiple times, sometimes the rotation would switch directions, and other times it would not.I tried this antenna out on a short pole from the ground, and am glad I did. Every so often the rotation would jam (i.e. would not rotate). I'm glad I found that out before I went to the effort to mount it on the roof outside..

Nicer than I thought it would be for the price
Major improvement over standard indoor antenna. Indoor reached about 30 mile radius now I got around 80. There’s another tower about the 100 mile mark that I can’t get at all and I’m assuming it’s because I mounted in the attic ,which is fine ,so to say this can’t do the full 150 mile range I don’t know. The rotation motor is fast and the remote for it is nice. Construction material seems cheap but it’s stout and lightweight. A lot of playing around aiming it and rescanning to find the sweet spot but didn’t take too long. Came with plenty of cable and install was quick. Just used a 1 inch board to a rafter to hang it. Picture quality is great, no choppiness, 16 HD channels and best of all no cable bill.

Nice
Just bought a 65 inch tv and i have sling, so I need an antenna when i want to watch local tv. Regular antennas don't work in my place but this antenna is absolutely incredible

Simple to install, very compact
works extremely well for its size, mine did not come with a mounting pole nor did I need it, its range claim is a bit optimistic but overall I am quite happy for the money spent

Good for off-air TV
This antenna looks good and works good. Easy to put together And has enough gain for a good picture. The rotor part is great for fine tuning the station.
