"Strong, It Is."
Wow, yes, Yoda, I couldn’t have put it better myself. And I am sure we could both agree that we do not need your extraordinary powers to be able to see that the Force is indeed strong with this lovely presentation frame of no fewer than 12 Star Wars 1st class stamps.Star Wars, of course, needs no introduction and whether we are young or old, we can still feel that tingle down our spines as those rousing chords strike up and how lucky I was to witness this first hand via the full cinematographic experience rather than on the small screen. The stamps, beautifully and precisely mounted within a frame and the perfectly aligned and bevelled windows in the backing card, within the frame, are a delight. So much so, one will find oneself staring at the montage again and again. Emblazoned along the top of the card mount appears the Star Wars logo and an absolutely wonderful image of Luke Skywalker himself staring at the setting suns on Tatooine. The dark wood frame sets the whole ensemble off to perfection and of course there is a mount point on the back so that you can hang it on the wall.As one might expect all the main characters are represented, both good and bad.“See the dark you must, to see the light.” Yes, yes of course, Yoda I see exactly what you mean. And in any event, they each have their own stamp and as is Royal Mail’s wont each is labelled in case you have forgotten who is who. Please note also, they are depicted as their younger selves and I think this is exactly the way to go.All in all it’s a fabulous set, beautifully mounted and presented; even the hardest and less well-informed heart could not fail to see its magnificence and I suspect this will persist for many years to come. For Star Wars fans, then, it would make for a fabulous present and who could resist with Christmas approaching? I make no claim as to whether such a collection would appreciate with time but I would say, buy it because you like it and anything else will be a bonus.“Buy it, you should!” Oh yes, I find myself, once more, in complete agreement with Yoda. With thanks to him, to Vine and Royal Mail.

Lovely stamps, disappointing mount
I have to say I was distinctly underwhelmed when I unpacked this framed set of StarWars stamps. It is not the stamps themselves which are a great set and will appeal to any StarWars fan - their worth alone is just over £8. The frame is quite handsome, dark wood and stands well proud of the mounted stamps. But the mount itself is a wish-washy indistinct beige picture on a light cream background. So much more could have been done to give this collection impact and interest. I know the stamps themselves are the "stars" but in my opinion they are not shown off to their best or put into context as they could have been. You also need to be aware that the mounted framed set is quite heavy weighing in at 3 lbs (about 1.3 Kg) so you will need a strong hook to support it on your wall.

good collectible
really nice set of stamps, the quality of course is excellent, as is the background. My only complaint is that the frame is a bit on the flimsy side, but I guess it does match the other similar sets released by Royal Mail

Collectors framed stamps
This is another Star Wars themed collectors framed stamps picture. Well mounted and put together. Looks smart and a great commemorative piece from the 2015 issue. Any Star Wars fan will like this and hopefully, it will gain in price over time if kept out too much light! The modern black frame shows them off well.Neat and nicely framed stamps set.

Star Wars character stamp set
This is a framed and mounted set of twelve Star Wars stamps, showing the 'light side and the dark side of the force' Royal Mail release from 2015.Nine of them are characters from the original trilogy (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi), strangely the remaining three are from the new trilogy (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and as-of-yet untitled Ep IX). I'm assuming the reason for this is to make this set desirable to all fans. Note: no Jar Jar.While the matting is excellent and the black ash effect frame is very nice (I do like the sepia toned shot of Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, most likely a still from A New Hope), the fact the edges of the stamps are white and the backing paper the stamps are mounted is also white, unless you look closely you could think they weren't stamps at all, just printed images. Only when I looked really close (see photo attached) can you see the edge perforations of the stamps. There is a metal hook on the back of the frame for hanging, but I would have liked a more substantial certificate of authenticity than just the small sticker with the Post Office and Star Wars logos on it. For posting, the frame has protective cardboard on all corners and the whole thing is sealed in clear plastic (though that was torn in transit)Remember, if you get bored with it you can take the stamps out and use them for posting.

I loved these stamps when they were released and this framed poster presentation really sets them off. I particularly like the Luke Skywalker background. The frame is good and sturdy and the stamps look at their absolute best. Perfect gift for all Star Wars fans.

Beautiful stamps disappointing background
The first thing my wife said when I showed her the framed stamps was "are they water damaged". The problem is the background sepia scene which is very faint and at a distance it is quite indistinct. It just looks like water has got into the frame and left a faint brown water-mark. The stamp collection itself is great although I am not sure why the particular display order was chosen as it makes no sense in terms of film order or dark-side light-side.
