Lita Ford's self-titled album is a hard rock gem that showcases her raw energy and powerful vocals. Filled with gritty guitar riffs and empowering lyrics, it’s a standout in her solo career Review: great album to start with if your just starting on lita ford. - i just got this album im not a long time lita fan im just starting to listen to her. what i dont understand is why people feel or say this is too pop-ish lita ford is a 80's hair metal singer all there songs ARE POP-ISH really it doesn't get any heaver for lita then blueberry. im not adding in her two newer albums the black and 09 albums that is her heaviest lita will ever get even her new album is pretty heavy but still have her 80's feel to it. i downloaded and checked out most of lita's music and she really doesn't get too heavy. i know metal and lita ford is NOT heavy metal she's 80's hair metal. lita herself said her 09 first heavy metal album she said was too much for her. she said she wanted it to rock and rocked too hard. she was way too exhausted she said all this on interviews i read online. 5 stars for every song on her self titled album except her cant catch me which is annoying. Review: LOVE! - I had this on cassette and lost it when I moved so I'm happy I've got it replaced

Love the whole MP3 album
This takes me back to when I was in high school, was not a big fan of metal music, but Lita had that rare sound of alternative rock before it was created, she combined pop and metal in a sexy way. All tracks are erotic, dangerous, and fun, I think I like the same from Biff Naked for instance Biff Naked's song Lucky can easly be compared with Lita's song Close My Eyes Forever. I had this cassette back in High School and loved it and now I've added to my MP3 collection.

Always regarded this release as a great album from the time I bought it on cassette ...
Ordered "Lita" on lp format from Amazon and was pleasantly surprised to find out I had ordered on red vinyl! Unexpected surprise! Always regarded this release as a great album from the time I bought it on cassette (remember those?) Loved "Back To the Cave" and "Can't Catch Me" in addition to the huge hit "Kiss Me Deadly". And fire up the lighters for the tender "Close My Eyes Forever" with the Ozz-man himself! You can't go wrong with this album from the Metal Maiden!

Another Rock Candy grand slam!
Sound quality, booklet and photos very worth the price. I think most Rock Candy reissues should be $35 each and very well worth it!

CD is perfectly fine. Good album. But Amazon REALLY needs to take better care when packaging something like this! The jewel case was all cracked by the time I got it!

I was expecting more from this album. It is good, but nowhere near the standard of the Runaways 1st three studio albums, or Live in Japan. And nowhere near the level of most of Jian Jett's solo albums. Still, a good album, well worth having!

I originally bought this awesome album on tape, or cassette as we say these days. I played that tape in the car (when cars had tape decks!) over, & over, & over again! I also bought the Ozzy duet Lita did on 3" CD single too. I remember seeing the music video to Kiss Me Deadly on the Chart Show 'back in the day' too. Sooo glad I bought this on CD - took me right back to 1986. I'm now going to finish off buying Lita's back catalogue - got 4 left to buy👍👍. She is THE QUEEN of metal!!
