5 years. Yes, that's how long I have had 32gb of this RAM. No errors, no failures, its not supposed to be fast or advanced, just does the job its supposed to. Would I rate the design or its looks? No! But that's because I have a case and I don't intend the insides to be publicly on display like a peacock. Would I state that memory capacity is bad? Again, no! Its a decent amount and haven't encountered a reason to need more than 32gb even with VM's running. Does it need a heat sink? No, its slower RAM so it runs a bit cooler. RGB? Why?? Its Hynix chips which are what Samsung use so if you are in doubt about its quality, don't.

The Timetec IC 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 Non ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL17 2Rx8 Dual Rank 288 Pin UDIMM fits in my old Optiplex 3050 W10P desktop with its i5 7500 cpu. It allows the machine to happily run 32GB of RAM at full speed without errors, and cooler. There was a slight speed up in tasks, when going from the old 4GB + 4GB Kingstons to the new Timetec despite both supposedly being the same speed rating. Also noticeable was a significant reduction in hard-disk use of the SSD for overflow-memory swapping, mainly when working on video files. A comprehensive RAM test by the BIOS took seemingly forever, but showed no faults. A useful point is that these DDR4 16GB RAMs are DUAL RANK, with 16 chips on the UDIMM card. This guarantees operation even on slightly older motherboards. Installation was simple; the RAM sticks slotted in quickly and locked in place easily. As with all ESD sensitive components, take care not to touch the contacts on the card and make sure oneself is earthed to the metalwork of the unplugged equipment, and with a desktop also always remove the mains before taking off the cover. It is always well worth giving the insides of any old computer a careful, gentle vacuum!

Not sure what else can be said about this. It's RAM, it arrived very quickly, installed it in my Ryzen 2400G rig and worked flawlessly. Not tried overclocking it as there's no need to in my application.

This is DDR4 Ram. Note, it won't fit in a DDR3 mother board. Check your PC socket before buying.
