Very Good Tool
Very well made tool. You need this tool if your changing your torsion bars. It made changing them on my 1999 GMC pickup a breeze

Could not have removed my t-bars without this tool
Worked as promised and really took a beating from me as I reinstalled the t-bars on my 2004 Durango. A lot of turns with a large "cheater bar" to get them back up to the factory setting, but the tool held up nicely. I'd give it 5 stars but as my crossmember is rounded the tool wouldn't stay perfectly "square" with the dimple in the t-bar, and the slight angle of misalignment made it more difficult to reinstall the t-bar. My arms were really sore the next day- lol! But again, the tool delivered. It is a universal tool so it may work a little better on other applications. Use a lot of oil on the threads as the heat created is quite surprising. Would recommend the tool highly and it is a LOT cheaper than the one used by the auto dealership. As a side point, some say you can use a Large C-clamp instead of this removal tool. I would pay to see a video of that! It may relieve the tension during removal but I would find it impossible to create the torque needed to reinstall them with a C-clamp. Hope this info is helpful...

Not one size fits all
Does not fit late 90's, early '00s Ford Explorers without modifying brace on vehicle.

Worked as it was designed. But was a used item advertised as new.
Tool came used and adjustment bolt was seized. Instructions stated bolt head was 1 1/16 in size but maybe the nut being used with impact driver damaged it. It was actually 1 1/8. I was able to use it after lubricating the threads and working them back and forth. The tool did work and maybe being universal it didn't fit the GM crossmember as well as I expected. Overall a bit pricey for used but it worked.

It does the Job!
After days of debate if I wanted to get this tool, or try the "alternative" tools suggested, or call around for a shop to do it.......I obviously went with this. I decided to go with this tool because I like working on my stuff....prefer to do it all myself.....really lets you get to know your vehicles that way. Not only that, I figured it was the safest way to put my new lift keys on.....other than having a shop do it. I was able to unload my stock keys in literally minutes once I had the front end in the air. Having an air impact speeds things right along too! I cant imagine how long it would take with only hand tools, since the threads on the u-bolt and main bolt are super fine threads. This is a good thing for strength, as there are probably 40+ threads inside the block at all times.......but it causes each rotation to be very very small in distance. The BIGGEST help this tool provides is RELOADING YOUR KEYS!!!! While unloading the keys was fairly easy, the reloading took extra effort. With a 1/2" impact on full blast, it took all it had to push the new keys back up. I actually had to do the last few rotations with a breaker bar to get the adjuster block back in. Very glad I opted to go this route.Pros:BEEFY!Smooth operationUniversal FitCons:Instructions lieMain bolt says 1-1/16 socket, but had to go buy a 28mm socket just to use it.universal fitthe u-bolt holder for top of cross member is a major PITAOverpriced

I gave it 5 stars because it works beautifully. But
I gave it 5 stars because it works beautifully. But... after installing Cognitive keys on my 09 Duramax, it became clear it can't stand up to time. I've changed or installed 2 sets of keys and it looks like it MIGHT handle one more set.

Worked as it should - 2001 Silverado 1500
This tool is pretty straight-forward in its use. It's very simple to use to uninstall your torsion keys and torsion bar adjuster block. I felt safer using this tool than a large C-clamp.
