This kills fleas quickly , but is not a monthly or long lasting answer.
This works. It isn't quite as fast as the more expensive brand name, but it will work. I have cats and weight out portions of the large dog size for dose because the ingredients are the same. It save me a lot of money for a little trouble. It must be bitter, so I mix the dose with some Delectable brand cat treat and mix it in. Dosing one cat at a time. Goes medium fast. You will start to see groggy fleas falling off with a hour. They will die, but it is not an instantaneous process. Spray your house at the same time and then redose in a few days. This is not a medicine that lasts. It's gone in 24 hours and yes, your pet can be re infested after that time. That why all pets must be done the same day and anywhere the pet sleeps or walks or hangs out in must be treated for fleas. Breaking the chain is the bane if the game. Respray areas when you retreat the animals.

Best flea med for $
The only flea and tick medication that works for my German shepherd. Never has fleas, great price vs what I would pay at the vet. I buy the pill pocket treats and they fit snug in the hole. He takes it every time with no problem. He doesn’t get irritated or scratch. Works very well.

Effective, Infestation gone . 1 dose
Great product! Effective ! Star killing the fleas after 30 min . I just gave one dose to my dogs , was enough to eliminate the infestation. For fact the infestation was starting , just found around 10 fleas total . If the infestation is bigger than that maybe need more than one dose probably.

Will purchase again
Not 100% effective. But did help.

Not as fast or effective as I expected
Did not work as quickly or as effectively as I expected. It took days to notice any difference + the infestation never completely went away until we tried other means. This was for our Australian Shepherd that was only mildly affected by fleas. We were trying to clear them out before we applied the topical treatment. This product never completely eliminated the fleas but it did make a slight difference. If it was cheaper I might give it four stars. For the cost. It's not really worth it. A few bucks more and you can get a better brand that's more effective.

Actually WORKS
Initial review:I’ll get right to it, I’m absolutely blown away. I’ve tried other flea products, topical & oral. Some kind of did the job, others not so much. I decided to try this brand and I’m so glad I did. After about an hour of ingestion I noticed my dog was scratching quite a bit, upon further inspection I started to see so many fleas coming to the surface to escape their imminent death! I decided to give my dog a thorough brushing to help catch the fleas and I couldn’t believe my eyes how many dead (and some half alive) fleas came out in the brush. Within another hour more dead fleas had fallen off on the couch, the floor, and the bed where he was laying. Gross but so satisfying to know this product works so well!!! Expect to do some laundry, change your sheets, and vaccum. 10/10 do recommend!! Hoping this keeps working for the 30 days as described.

Have used these for years - they work and have never had an issue with my dogs
These are a life saver for us. I have never thought about reviewing them despite buying often. Simple to use and have never had an issue with any of our dogs. I would imagine these would be a good tool to use when trying to battle a flea issue, but for me it has always been a preventive measure after having to tackle a long battle years ago. I give my dog one of these as soon as we leave any place other dogs or animals have been such as a store or the vet office. That way any hitchhikers get taken out versus moving into our home. I learned about these years ago when I was part of a volunteer transport group to get shelter dogs to rescue groups or to fosters. The first leg of the trip would supply one of these pills to help out the entire trip and the dog with any fleas could be relieved. I have not had an issue in years and years and I think it is because of other tactics I use but this is the front of the battle line tool I use. Good price, easy to give, and it works as intended to control fleas. I have used on many different dogs and have never had an issue. I still use these when my senior dog goes to the vet.

Review revision
For reference, I have a 4lb yorkie and 8kb silky. It’s now mid January and we’ve been battling fleas since the fall. Every time we visit our family at the lake (in a heavily wooded area) they seem to get them again. Its been such a struggle! Topicals just aren’t working anymore. I’ve tried them all, combing with a lice comb several times a day, and baths twice a week, laundry yah-di-yah… ya’ll know the struggle. Im always so afraid to try any flea treatments because there are always reviews of pets having negative reactions. I would be so heartbroken if I was the cause of anything bad happening to my babies. So with this, I skimmed the reviews and had to take a leap of faith. I paid the extra 2.99 to have it delivered same day, that’s how over the fleas I am. I received the package yesterday afternoon, crushed the pills into pieces of leftover shaved steak, folded over. Of course they got plain bites before and after, because, of course ;) around evening I started the combing routine, again, expecting to find the usual couple I do after topical treatment but the only flea I found was dead! This is only maybe an hour or two after feeding them the medicine. I did not expect this to work! They haven’t scratched at all since and the pups are perfectly fine. I was so worried they would get sick or have a reaction, especially being so small. I have to be super careful. I’m grateful for this product and I know my pups are even if they can’t verbalize, they show through their actions and their ability to finally get restful sleep. Idk if they will get immune to this as it seems has happened with all other brand that worked in the past. But for now, I appreciate that they get this relief. The following evening I noticed them scratching again and did another combing. Found more fleas, not a lot and these were smaller so I’m pretty sure some eggs hatched or something, new batch but the medicine didn’t prevent them. I gave a 2nd dose and was doing well. Decided to save the 3rd and final dose of the pack (between two dogs) until 2days away, the weekend where we would be headed back to my moms.I gave them the final dose before leaving my house, as a hopeful preventative and in case any were on them I wouldn’t take fleas to her. They were at her house for the weekend while we went around visiting other family members. When I went to pick them back up Sunday, they needed a flea bath as soon as we got back home. Still not a lot of fleas but definitely didn’t prevent them from picking up more in her yard.Overall, I think these are probably great to be given as soon as soon as fleas are first noticed to possibly stop an infestation or perhaps after a weekly bath to break the flea cycle. They do phage their place and I’ll keep some handy in my flea killing arsenal. But solo I don’t think these are enough on their own. Hope this review helps others decide what’s right for them. The flea battle continues…
