The pockets are larger and more useful than I expected and once in the right position the scope and tripod (quite big ones) are carried in the ideal position and you forget they are thereAlas after 3 months use the stitching is coming undone on both shoulder straps, I am asked to return it for manufacturer assessment (?). I still really like the design and the usefulness of the bag for the bits & pieces. A pity it has let me down after about 13 uses. I will update again once a resolution has been achieved.

it is what it is ,easy to carry your scope on your back at approx. £17 cheaper than any other

The rucksack is compact but sufficient to carry rspb book and other small items . The carrying straps enable me to carry the fairly heavy scope on my back which as any osteopath will advise is far better thatcarrying it over one shoulder.

This was fine if required for long distance carrying.Fiddly to adjust and awkward to put on if wearing bulky outer clothing, not recommended if use of optics requires frequent removal and putting back on

I have a Slik d3 tripod and this does not fit. The bottom velcro doesnt go over the leg locks, causing the whole thing to scrunch up your back making it very uncomfortable to use and means that you can not use the small bag either.The legs can not open properly, as the bottom of the podtrek isnt wide enough It would work better on smaller tripods.The quality of stitching is also below par.
