Excellent cheese fondue kit!
Taste is great! Creamy and good cheese flavor. You can adjust the flavor by adding more kirsch, white wine, etc. If you don't have a fondue set: I melted this successfully using a double-boiler method. I used a small, high-sided sauce pan filled 1/2 way with boiling water and set a metal bowl on of the pan such that the bottom of the bowl did not touch the boiling water. I allowed the bowl to heat up, then rubbed a garlic clove on the bottom of the bowl until the clove mostly disintegrated. Then I dumped the Emmi fondue contents into the bowl and used a wooden spoon to continually stir it for about 15 minutes (very creamy at this point). Next, I transferred the melted fondue to a pre-warmed 1.5 qrt crock pot (slow cooker) at the dining table. The cheese stayed melted and dippable for about 20 min as we ate it (high setting was fine for the crock pot, since it's a small one). You don't need to buy a fondue set to enjoy this--a mini crock pot will work just fine!
