Powell Peralta "Rat Bones 60mm 90A Green Skateboard Wheels (Set of 4)

These are buttery smooth for cruising city streets and sidewalks. If you skateboarded in the 1980's, these are like what you used to ride. They are a big 60mm diameter and they are wide to. It is what we used to consider a street wheel, but is huge by modern skateboard standards. Plus, they are perfect for that vintage look to your retro cruiser.These are halfway between today's longboard wheels and more modern skateboard wheels.I am an old skateboarder. I have restarted recently, and got a modern skateboard with modern skateboard wheels. Modern skateboard wheels are super hard and small. This offers a performance benefit, but makes them very uncomfortable for typical city streets and sidewalks. They will rattle your teeth, make your feet numb. Until I got the Rat Bones, i just thought I was getting old and grumpy. When I got the Rat Bones, it was a trip down memory lane. Really smooth. Being larger and softer, they roll over some bumps and rocks that the small hard wheels would hang up on (and throw you to the ground).

I have been riding with softer wheels like these for cruising to match with the Cruel harsh sidewalks that don't get cleaned. These wheels are my favorite yet , At the same time as they double for cruising wheels that ride right over rocks and flick the rocks right out of your way they are nice and durable so I could power slide almost all day on them. I also love the old school shape that was designed for primos and rail stands. All around these wheels are an outstanding experience. They are a bit on the heavy side Although I am not the type of person to let heavy wheels bother me while I'm trying to do flip tricks because if you learn it with heavy wheels It won't be as hard as you think.

Great wheels! Had them when I was a kid and they are still the same.

Smooooooooth and silky… oohhhh yeeeaaaa!

Arrived as expected and was wrapped neatly. The wheels themselves are a bit wider than most but ride super smooth! I'm using them on a regular skateboard deck and Bones Red Bearings and they make for a smooth cruising set up. I skate on a college campus and I honestly go over cracks nicely and dont feel a thing. Would highly recommend if you're thinking about setting it up on a regular skateboard for some cruising.

I haven’t used these, and I’m sure they would do the job fine but didn’t really need them. I was specifically after another product and only added these to make the shipping cost effective. These wheels arrived however the products I was actually after were cancelled without notification. Poor.

90A brings me back to 1987 when I had these wheels loaded on a Powell Peralta Per Welinder street model. I remember using them in the streets and doing some sick powerslides. Well, it's 20+ years later and these wheels are back. The color reminds me of the 80's. I don't remember these wheels being as fast as they are. I like these wheels alot. They have been really good on the streets to the post office and in the skatepark on concrete snake runs. You might have to pump a little harder, but they're still awesome in my book!

Rat Bones. Always a good choice for a classic set up.
