Dockers Men's Classic Fit Easy Khaki Pants - Pleated (Standard and Big & Tall)

There are a variety of types of Dockers pants, so part of my dissatisfaction may be with not understanding which is which. However, these pants were VERY different from ones I have previously purchased. First, the material changed after I washed them the first time to a "fuzzy" feel instead of just plain cloth. Then, the length shrank about an inch after couple of washes (I have never had a pair of Dockers pants shrink that much). Frankly, it almost felt as though these were some sort of cheap knock-off brand being sold as Dockers.

First off, I ordered two pairs in Timberwolf Khaki, instead got one in Khaki, one in Olive. I didn't return them. First time I wore them, I noticed that the seam on the right leg looked strange by the knee. I didn't think much of it. Wore the Timberwolf pair a few more times and the seam separated as seen in the picture. Unfortunately, I am past the return window on these pants. I expect better from dockers. Until Amazon improves their quality control and stops selling counterfeits, I suggest not buying clothes from Amazon.

Don't know if the quality has suffered due to not being made in the US but Dockers are not what they used to be. I remember Dockers made of heavy material and very durable but this product is nearly paper thin. I expect it to be worn out twice as fast as the good ol' pants. Maybe its the type of pants ordered but there seems to be no way to buy pants like the good ones anymore. Is there a way to know/tell on-line before buying if the pants will be more heavy-duty/ durable? Price was right and look nice enough but as I said this pants will not hold up very long.

Yet another product “improved” to the dissatisfaction of long-time customers. What happened to the 60/40 cotton/poly twill D3 Classic? This new soft, drapey, sanded fabric is limp and picks up lint like nobody’s business. This is not a classic, khaki-style pant. It’s now more like a wool dress slack. If I’d wanted that, I’d have bought genuine worsted wool. If nothIng else, at least they haven’t managed to screw up the Classic fit, so there’s that. Disappointed.

Seeing some confusion in other reviews, there are a few styles of Dockers. Signature is the standard Dockers. This product is the "Easy".. Easy are a softer lighter material, and a bit looser fit. Easy are a little cheaper (price wise, quality still good). I love them, comfortable, durable, my last set lasted 2 years/twice a week and another pair is holding strong at 15 months/twice a week.

I had to preside over the funeral of my father-in-law. A total shock. I had a few days to be ready. I called Amazon customer support. I needed a real person. I knew I need dressy black clothes and a white shirt. Every freaking store either did not have my larger than average size or it was not formal enough. I gambled with Amazon. I’ve bought everything there but dressy clothes. The rep got me exactly what I needed. Found me a discount, and rushed it to me over night for so little extra money. The order took a long time as I tried in a feeble way to give my specific needs, sizes, and styles.I got my dress clothes the next day. My gas bill going from store to store cost well more than the shipping. I even use this comfortable pants and shirt to church. Dockets are usually well made. Amazon, thank you. Presiding over these services require specific clothes. Between your vast inventory and a super awesome customer service rep you turned me into a regular apparel buyer now. Those London Fog three season coats I bought were a steal. Again in my huge size range and fine quality. More when I write that review.

These pants fit great but are maybe better suited for special occasions than daily wearing. But I am looking forward to seeing how the "Dockers Men's Classic Fit Signature Khaki Lux Cotton Stretch Pants-Pleated, black" work out, because those ones have a more course material than these ones. This material is very nice, but I carry a pocket knife clipped into one pocket and a flashlight clipped into the other. Within just one day of wearing these pants, they already showed a bit of rub wear. (And I'm not moving around all that much. That week was spent in the office.) Within three days, you can see the wear mark in the photo above. (Although a little harder to see, my wallet has also started to leave a mark, from the inside. And I carry a very thin wallet - it is not even a bi-fold but instead is just one piece that holds cards on both sides, of which I carry only five cards.)So, although these look great, maybe there are meant more for a semi-formal occasion and not everyday use.(Mine also came with one leg 1/2" longer than the other, so be aware of that. I didn't notice it until the third day I was wearing them and my wife mentioned something.)

Very nice fit, and the fabric is soft. I am undecided if I'm going to purchase these again as I've worn them less than a month, and one of the leg seams is already tearing. To be more succinct the fabric appears to be tearing at the seam. It's stretch fabric, well, apparently is doesn't stretch very much. These fit me fine when I'm standing, and moving around, but sitting, for some reason, is causing them to stretch, and it looks like they will fail soon.I'll be looking for other options, I guess. It's sad because I really want to like these pants.Edit: The pants are now torn a little after right at a month of wearing twice a week, but these are non-returnable. It's sad because my initial review was so much higher, and I had planned on buying two more pair this month, but now I have to try to find a different pair of pants.I am in 58 waist, but I've come down from 62, and am losing weight after changing my diet. I plan on losing more, but I can't afford to pay $40 for a pair of pants that don't even last a solid month.

Brilliant pant, cannot get this style in the uk for price and fit. Recommended if you like the “Loose Fit”

I've worn Dockers for work everyday and on days off or for social functions as well for more than 10 years. They are rugged, wash well, fit nicely and seem to last forever unless cut or ripped by work materials. And they're available in my size usually and also on sale. But due to the pandemic the local suppliers have dried up. So I ordered 4 pairs of Dockers, 2 pairs of Amazon Essentials and 1 pair of Dickies all from Amazon Prime to try and replace ripped old pairs for work. The Dockers were exactly what I had though the material seems to be of a lighter weight. The Amazon Essentials seemed to be the same weight I expected for the Dockers but do fit large. The Dickies were ordered 1 size up as I have purchased them in the past and find them fit tight. All 7 pair will be used constantly to determine where I go to if the local sources fail to restock my sizes.
