Quiet and volumous fan
Not as well made or warrantied as Austrian designed Noctau but will do the job and made in USA. Having built-in Molex connector (for a power supply) and a motherboard 3 pin female-connector is a savings (about $2) plus connection option if your motherboard doesn't have a 3 pin male connector.

SILENCE!
I bought this to replace a case fan that came standard in my HP Envy H8t. This fan was a great inexpensive upgrade. It reduced the noise coming from the case and actually keeps the PC running cooler. One note, I replaced this after first replacing the GPU fan, which was the major culprit of the noise.

Very satisfied with this fan.
This fan has been working flawlessly for me for nearly a year now, I'm still very impressed with its quality. It's still very quiet and moves a good amount of air when running on a full 12 volts. The only gripe I have is with the rubber mounts that it came with, at some point they just failed completely and the fan was left hanging by its wires. It comes with screws in the package as well and is such a smooth running fan that there wasn't really any noticeable difference in noise when mounted with the screws.Update: The bearing on this fan became noisy quite a while back,it has since been placed in a power supply that I rarely use.

Very quiet, but not quite silent - downgraded
Quieter than the Artic Cooling F9 I also bought, but almost double the price. Whether at full speed or throttled back, it is consistently quieter than the Artic while subjectively appearing to move about the same amount of air. As a replacement for a Wine Cooler (yes, these fans do appear in things other than PC cases), when the unit hits its temperature setpoint and dials back the fan speed, the SilenX is so quiet you have to put your ear to the unit to hear it. Not so the Artic - and the Artic was already far quieter than the original fan being replaced. One star off for claiming "silent" when it is definitely not, especially at speed.12/13/14 edit - down one more star. Now that winter is here, ambient conditions in my house don't require the wine cooler, or its fans, to work so hard. Very often, the fans come to a complete halt. And that's fine by me, I understand that at some voltage the fan cannot overcome its own resistance. But here's the problem: the SilenX, and >only< the SilenX, emits a whiny buzzing noise when it is stopped! The Artic stops at about the same time - very often I notice (walking down the stairs behind the unit so you can see the fans through the grille) both fans at a standstill, but only the SilenX is making any noise.End of story: after only two months, the SilenX went into the trash and I installed a second Artic. Both red and white wine zone fans now stop at the same time, and both silently. If you need a fan running all the time, the SilenX is a tad quieter at a good deal more cost. If your fan may be slowing down sometimes enough to possibly stop, get the Artic and save some money.

Great case fan! Quiet too.
What can be said about it... it's a case fan! Not much to add other than it is quieter than the old stock fan that died. And price was good. One big plus is that besides screws to mount it, the fan comes with these rubber things that can be used instead of screws to attach the fan which gives the fan something to absorb any vibrations to reduce noise. They were easy to install and work great.

Quiet, Good looks, But not too powerful.
This fan looks absolutely gorgeous in my custom modded case. The speed is not too fast so it's quiet at the slight cost of a little airflow. If you demand a powerful fan and don't care for noise, then go look for a different fan, But if you want looks a little more then this will do great. I am still very pleased with the amount of air this thing pushes and it looks really good as well.

Four Stars
Have been running Silenx fans for awhile now. A little spendier but seem to be decent quality.

I used this to replace the fan that is in the back of my domestic RV refrigerator. It is used to circulate air to the cooling fins.
