My favorite egg white protein is MRM, but for the price difference, this one is definitely a good alternative. The taste isn’t as good as MRM but I mix it in smoothies with a bunch of other stuff anyway. To be clear, it tastes good, just not *as* good as the other brand. It’s a good price, tastes decent, and blends into smoothies or even iced coffee (made in the blender) really well.

The flavor of chocolate and vanilla is OUTSTANDING- I love using vanilla to make flour free treats and desserts. Blend ability is excellent in multiple settings, taste is just right for shakes, chia puddings, pumpkin bread or blueberry muffins. When making shakes, same thing- no big or little chucks, just smooth and satisfying. Perfect amount of protein, low on everything you don't want in your protein. NOW brand has only gotten better and better as a company (been a customer since 2003) when I started buying their brand.

We prefer the vanilla flavor, but the chocolate flavor works okay with almond milk, peanut butter, and frozen bananas for a richer, more decadent smoothie. I use a stick blender to get the best results. I find it foams easily in water or plant-based milk, doesn't dissolve completely, and leaves slimy clumps when I just shake it or mix it with a spoon.

Got this product and it’s awful! I bought it cause I’s looking for a lactose free protein, and trusted Amazon reviews of the product, but it tastes disgusting, I won’t keep using it so I’ll have to throw it in the bin. I know is not Amazon’s fault, but just wanted to let you know, cause checking the good reviews of the product might misinform people. Awful flavour, is not just made from egg protein, but also taste like egg. Disappointing considering the cost of it. Very poor at blending, after shaking with blender, bunches of protein did not dissolve properly.

Have used all sorts of protein powders over the past twenty or thirty years and there are very few that agree with me. Whey protein is always a fail for me personally and so I have always just used casein protein as a substitute but that is so thick that I only use it at night before bed as it is a little tricky to get down after a workout. Decided to try egg white protein, and this one tasted better than one of the other major brands in my opinion. No stomach issues from it at all so far. One reviewer said they thought it was slimy but I don't experience that at all. I mix it with 3 parts milk and one part water.

Willing to remove this review if I get my money back. But honestly this is probably toxic. What could make something taste like fresh out of the factory plastic except maybe using fillers that are probably somewhat plastic based. I bet if someone with money had this tested by a third party it would look really wrong. It would have whey in it but other containments. It is probably made in china and with low quality standards. One thing is 100% sure, it taste synthetic. I know what real whey tastes like, I know what artificially flavored whey tastes like, i know what naturally flavored whey tastes like… This is something else. And the fact that they are putting probably fake or long expired certificate stamps on the label is pretty messed up. This is not food.

I bought this protein as an alternative to whey. After using it for about a year, I've learned a few things: (1) It does not dissolve very well in water. Even when diluting it (higher water/powder ratio), it still seems to clump whether you shake it or stir it with a spoon. (2) You almost always have to combine it with some type of sugar and/or flavoring because it does not taste desirable alone. (3) You cannot mix it with hot liquids or you will end up with cooked egg whites! This powder can definitely be used to add a high quality source of protein to various baked goods and other mixes. However, it does not quite fare well as a substance in a shake and you may run into some mixing/dissolving issues along the way.

I mix this with my Garden of Life Chocolate Raw Meal each morning, the flavor is as great as you can expect an egg-y chocolate greens protein shake to taste. My body loves the combination and is energized by this when I start my day with it! Making a note, I've never tried this on its own and I always mix with GoL and vanilla almond milk. I actually really like the texture, it's a bit gritty, the chocolate flavor masks any unpleasantness. I use about half-full scoop, five days a week and the jug lasted me about two months, really great value! It's definitely not as tasty as Jay Robb's egg white mix, but it's about half the price so I will be sticking with this. I've seen a lot of lean muscle developing and really love the taste overall! If you're on the fence, I'd say it's worth giving a try!

I just opened the item, was shocked to see that the lid was completely cut off. I really like this brand but it is very problematic when there is an item you receive that has been tampered with. I had to dump it. Just ordered the Unflavoured version, came perfect. No issues.
