First of all the good point. The magnet in this thing is very good. On my test I managed to tie wrap a bunch of 4 CAT5e cables to them and they seem to hold nicely. However, the product design is flawed simply because although they stick hard to the metal, they SLLLIIIIIIDDDEEEEEEE very easily! It is like a stuck-on air hockey puck, making them useless in vertical scenarios. Because the magnet is so nicely polished it provides no resistance to sliding. This could have been easily avoided if the plastic bottom surrounding the magnet had been made of a more grippy rubbery plastic instead of the hard plastic they chose to use.So, I recommend this if you plan to use them to hang cables upside down only. Other directions, they don't work as good.

Works ok strength is a little week for holding control wire bundles in place.

These hold great for auto work

Had my boss order these for attaching cable to metal roofs and figured 9lbs pull would be good. When they came in, it says 5lbs pull plain as day on the packaging. When I get them out of the package, the magnets are so weak (probably weaker than 5lbs) that I highly doubt they are going to hold for the application we need them for. I tested them on some metal and they slide around with little to no resistance. Will not buy again, do not be deceived.
