I’ve been using these for a few months and they are terrific. They taste like peppermint and dissolve under the tongue. Within about 15 minutes I’m sound asleep for the night. I wake up refreshed. I recommend you start with 3 mg, as you probably won’t need anything stronger.

Being a retired RN, this product works very well you can take it right before you go sleep(. 1 or 2) and you will go to sleep within 30 minutes. You wake up in the morning without feeling hung over. Take it at least 8hrs when you know it will be out of your system. Start with one tablet. I can say it is safe for Seniors. Don’t take it every night. It helps your natural sleep kick in. I wouldn’t recommend anything for prolonged use.

This product contains lactose and peppermint flavor, so it may not be safe for those with lactose intolerance or salycilate sensitivity, but of course that's what makes it taste good! At least there are no colors in it! I love the sublingual form. My husband who does not take pills will take this (melatonin levels decrease with age) and so will my grandson who is ADHD. Children are supposed to have naturally high levels of melatonin so I hesitated to give it to him until I read that it is useful in calming hyperactive symptoms. He is also on the Feingold and GF/CF diet so the lactose and peppermint ingredients are not ideal. However, I have noticed more benefits than problems at low doses. Melatonin does not produce a hangover when I use it for insomnia or jetlag. It causes mild drowsiness within 10-15 minutes so I take it when I go to bed, not before. It also helps with early waking when I want to go back to sleep. There's also no tolerance--I've been using the same dose for years!

Update: I left a not so good review before cuz they didn't really work for me. I gave them to somebody else and they worked really well though. They liked them. So I'm coming back to change the review.

Really helps my daughter go to sleep. She takes 1/2 off one and no more starting awake until the wee hours of the morning!

Great taste. I buy this for my mother in law for occasional use. She doesn't like any other flavors but peppermint. We are happy that we found this brand to match her preferences.

It’s great. I sleep well with this. No sugar or weird additives. Some natural factors supplements are real good, some I avoid because seem to have things added I avoid. This melatonin appears to be a clean supplement. I’ve been using this more than 2 years. You don’t need water with this, melts in your mouth. I also take 1/2 pill of this in daytime when I have extreme anxiety, it takes edge off quickly combined with L-theanine and some natural factors magnesium citrate capsule, which is also very affordable. A good sleep and extreme anxiety remedy for me
