I couple of months ago I started using this product for routine cleansing of my sinuses. This year (2013) has been a brutal year for allergies. I normally do not suffer like I have this year. This product helps to lessen the problem. I think the instructions recommend using it once daily, but lately I have been using it twice daily as my allergy problems have been acting up. My sinus problem was starting to affect my right ear. I felt pressure building up in my ear that is comparable to what you experience when flying on a plane. This rinse along with some over the counter sinus medication improved my situation, and I feel a lot better now. -- Good product, and I plan to continue using it.

My brother first told me about "sinus cleansing" a few years ago. He was using one that looked like a tea pot. The Ayr system is a geyser that definitely cleans out those sinuses! I expected it to burn and be quite painful, but it doesn't burn at all!!! I have found that it is easiest to use this product while in the shower. Not only does the steam help loosen up any junk up there, but it prevents you from having to clean up any mess around the sink (the saline does kinda fly everywhere when exiting your nose)! I am very happy with it, and the refill packs are extremely convenient!

My doctor recommended a nasal rinse for my allergies. I first I thought that it was disgusting. Actually, I still think that it's disgusting. But it works so well that I use it anyways. I use 1 packet once a day most of the time, but will use 2 or 3 packets if I have a cold or if my allergies are particularly bad. I don't notice any stinging unless I am doing multiple packets. Mostly is just feels like getting water up your nose when you jump into the pool. I cannot tell you how nice it is to be able to breathe again. I did briefly try another brand, but it did not work as well as the Ayr, so I switched back.

This product's packaging is much easier to use than the Neil-Med refill packets. Each packet makes only 6 oz. of saline solution, which is less than the Neil-Med packets. Even though I've used an 8oz. product for several years, I find that 6 oz seems to be working.

When ever anyone in the family becomes stuffed up and congested, this is the first thing I reach for. It has saved us from trips to the doctor many times, since it clears the sinus passages and prevented us from getting a sinus infection.
