Just received this Kuoser dog coat today and immediately tried it on my dog. Fits her perfectly! She is a 58 lb mixed hound dog with a hefty girth and a long back. I used the size chart which advised to size up if in between sizes, which my dog was. I first ordered the XXL but it was huge on her. So I ordered an XL and that one fits perfectly. YAY! Seems warm enough, love the red plaid against my dog’s chocolate brown coloring, and I also love the reversibility (black waterproof side) of this jacket. Whether or not it’s really waterproof is still a question as it just arrived and the sun is shining here today. My intuition tells me it’s likely to be more water-resistant rather than waterproof. But that’s OK for us since, as my husband said, if it’s raining hard we’re not likely to be taking the dog for a walk. 🤷🏻‍♀️By the way, this jacket goes on and off quickly and easily. It covers my dog’s long back which has not been the case with previous jackets we bought for her in the past. And I love the extended collar which you can keep up or fold back. Looks great on my dog! She loved trying it on!

I have a Border Collie who likes to spend most of his day outside. I bought this coat so I wouldn't worry about him as much being outside for hours.This review is based on using it for only 2 weeks and it has held up from everyday use. I have not washed it yet but I think it'll be OK. The coat is just the right amount of thickness and it feels like an insulated flannel. The velcro is strong and keeps the coat firmly in place. My dog does not seem to mind wearing it and it does not restrict him in anyway. I bought the XL and it seems a good fit for my dog who weighs 45-50 lbs. It seems this coat runs on the smaller size based on other reviews and my experience. Not sure how water resistant it is since we haven't had much rain lately. I would recommend this coat based on my experience from 2 weeks.

It started getting down in the 30s in the morning finally, so I needed to find an investment for my short coated pup when she started shivering on our walks.She's got a 20 in neck and a 33in chest, I bought a 2xl and it fits her perfectly. There is the perfect amount of stretch under the belly to keep the coat snug but not too tight. The velcro is very strong, strong enough that when she starts playing rough with other dogs it stays on without a problem. My dog has a harness with a lead that I attach in the front. I put her harness on first and then the coat, the lead comes out of the top of the neck strap easily. The hole on the back works well if I feel like attaching the leash there as well. The rain jacket side is great for rainy days, water slides right off. I'd only recommend it for cold rainy days as it traps heat fairly well. Not sure how it does below 30 degrees, as I live in Georgia and that's a rare occasion, but it keeps my girl warm in the low 30s on our walks.

Wanted a coat for my little furbaby and realized there were many different varieties so I researched them all and found this to be the best due to:Price- is greatCollar- extra warmth (most don't have one)Velcro- 2 nice big straps -a must for easy on and offPlus where the velcro is you don't slip it over their head which is a huge bonus. This has 2 velcro areas (one for the leg, one for the tummy)Quilting around tummy- means it's gathered and fits your baby to keep them warm and not let the breeze in and keeps their whole tummy warm and dry.Stretch- especially in the tummy but with the velcro you can make it tight or loose.Water resistant- I live in the desert so not sure but seems like it would be.There is also a stitched hole for you to be able to attach your dog's collar and leash through.This jacket is reversible from a pattern side that is like plaid flannel to a solid softer cooler one.

My pup has a couple coats and so far this is my favorite. He’s a schnauzer and fits in a small. The smooth side doesn’t mat his long fur at all, which we both love. The Velcro at the neck and belly makes this super adjustable and easy to put on. I wish that the harness slit was a little longer as I feel like I really have to dig to get it out, and the collar of the coat does catch on his collar when we’re leashed at the neck, which is a little annoying. But the quality is great, the coat is super cute, and I’m sure we’ll be getting a lot of use out of it as we enter Michigan winter!

First, let me say that Opus is literally a “clothes hound”. So he LIVES for anything he can wear. But if your pooch needs a coat for the cold and putting cold weather gear on is like clothing a toddler (darn near impossible, but a necessity) then this is the frock for your fur baby! When Opus hears “outside” his tail wags him and even clipping his leash becomes a game. This coat can be a walk in, lay in or any other way in! And the fit for my FAT butt dog is the cats meow!!My husband and I bought and returned so many other puppy dog coats before we settled on the first one we bought last year (it accidentally got tossed in our move) and then after agonizing and getting a too small one again this fall, we trolled through our Amazon history and thank goodness we found the original purchase!!! So, this is the second one.Second, Opus is large neck, and barrel gut. So his is SUPER HUGE!! He is NOT a Great Dane. In another life he may have been a black bear or something, but his stature is about knee height. His weight is FAT! Anyway, this purchase gets a thumbs up from us!

My 75lb pitty is broad-chested and has a skinny butt. The advice was to measure the chest, neck, and back, and when in doubt make sure the CHEST fit over everything else.I did follow this advice, and it's perfect. A little loose on the back, but not around the center of her body where the velcro is and the shoulders, there it fits great. The little extra space is good for her since she's so dang squirmy. We call her velvet since she has very little hair overall, and this has made her winter car rides (full windows down) so much more enjoyable. She even gets the zoomies and roughhouses with the brother with it on!It's not really waterproof on either side, but that doesn't bother us. We live in CA - we will never see rain again.

Just wanted to give a quick size review in case people are having trouble visualizing.We received the coat today. Photo attached. This is a size 3XL. Our dog is just under 80lbs and it fits perfectly.

We just got this today and it seems like it’s going to work out great. It’s light weight but seems warm. I’d say it’ll be good on my dog until -10 or so. I like how it has a collar, and the belly of it is the water resistant black material and not the fleecy red plaid so it won’t get soaking and dirty. Velcro is strong. I ordered a size up as recommended from the other reviews and it’s definitely a size too big, but it’s still fine. I almost ordered two sizes up but I’m glad I didn’t. My dog is 26” around her chest, 18” neck and 23” from base of neck to tail. I ordered her an XXL.

Very cute jacket. It keeps my dog very warm even in the freezing cold. We have a rescue dog, 70 lb lab. Ordered the coat before we picked up the pup. Ordered a 3XL because we heard she had a chubby midsection (that's why we didn't order a bikini lol) It is a bit too big for her but it will suffice.I have washed it and it held up well. It is easy to take on and off. The velcro is strong. It has a handy opening for a harness clip. I like the fact that it is reversible. She seems very comfortable wearing it and I daresay a bit proud!

I was pleasantly surprised when this jacket arrived given that it was so affordable. It is pretty well made, I love that it is reversible and waterproof on one side, I always use it waterproof side out, the touch of red plaid is so cute that way. It fits my little Maltese/Yorkie Mix perfectly the size charts seems pretty accurate, his chest is 16" and he weighs about 11-12 pounds so I got a Small, it is nice and stretchy around the tummy area and adjustable, pretty easy to get on once you get the hang of it. My favourite part is that his chest and stomach are nice and covered while still giving him enough room so that he can pee freely. Combined with booties I can take him on an hour long walk in snow and very cold weather -18°C with the windchill was no problem and he comes home warm and dry. Basically if I can handle the cold he can too. Can't say enough good things about this Jacket!
