Hot but solid.
Have a US-XG-16 and was having issues with the 10G RJ45 port kept disconnecting to my pc with a ASUS XG-C100C 10G RJ45 card and 100ft cat7 cable. This is a known issue on this switch from Ubiquiti that the RJ45 ports will disconnect randomly when running at 10G. I had no issues on my SFP+ ports so I bought this to use a SFP+ port for my pc. Plugged it in and connected right away at full speed. Have been running it solid for 2 weeks and not 1 drop. It has fixed my issue.Only thing to consider is it does run hot. And I mean hot, however it hasn't affected performance. I must do the same as another poster and add a fan to help, however no issues so far.

Just works
Excellent! Works great with my TP-Link switch, no problems. Affordable.

Does NOT properly support 2.5Gbps
Based on my experience with a MicroTik switch: this reports 10Gbps to the switch regardless of the negotiated speed. While it does appear to be connected at 2.5Gbps, it reports as 10Gbps to the switch. I assume this confuses the switch, because it then turns into an intermittent 2.5Gbps downlink and a basically worthless (due to so much packet loss) 5-10Kbps uplink. Probably works fine for 10Gbps and 1Gbps. But 6COM clearly answered a question stating that it supports 2.5 + 5, and seemingly it does not. At least not with MikroTik.

Works well but beware 2.5Gbps devices - UDM-Pro
Works well with a UDM-Pro. 1Gbps works as expected. Gets surprisingly warm as others have noted. One niggle is that this does NOT work with 2.5Gbps capable devices, which has tripped me up with two different devices. While negotiation to 1Gbps was expected the result was instead a non-functional link. Unclear if that is due to this device or the UDM-Pro.

Works perfectly with Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 8 POE 150W
The 6COM SFP RJ-45 transceiver module worked perfectly to add an extra Ethernet port to my Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 8 POE 150W. The transceiver module was plug-and-play, and auto-negotiated to 1000 Mbps FDX. The module runs pretty hot, and causes my switch to run a little warmer, but that's true of every copper SFP module. It's not a problem for me as my switch is in a well-ventilated location, but something to keep in mind if you plan to use a copper SFP module with a switch that is located in an enclosed cabinet or an area with limited ventilation. The 6COM transceiver module is an excellent value compared with OEM, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Units run too hot for my liking
They work, they do what they should but you will want to find a way to extract the heat off of them

Works out of the box... Hot!!!
The item worked right out of the box, no issues during setup. However, it runs really hot. I was getting network errors when transfering my old server data (~37TB) to my new server and I wasn't sure if it was the old server, new server, or this devices.I ended up putting a USB fan blowing on the SFP+ ports of my switch. This cooled it down a lot. All of the data finished shortly after so I'm not sure if that is enough data to suggest this overheats.During normal use of the server there is not typically sustained high transfer rates.i would buy again because it saves me from buying a 10G Ethernet switch for now.

Works as advertised from what I can tell.
Using it between a qnap 451be with the addon10g/dual ssd card and an arista 24port 10gbe l3 switch over a 1m cat7 cable. The sfp has worked as advertised as far as I can tell. Unfortunately the nas can't saturated the link for a proper test, but I have no indications there is a limitation with the sfp. I would absolutely buy again if forced to use 10g-tp interconnect to devices (typically use dac and mm-fiber).

Sehr gut.....
Macht was es soll. Funktioniert prima mit Cisco Switch

OK - RJ-45-Laschen halten nicht gut
Funktioniert klaglos - RJ-45-Laschen rasten aber nicht gut
