As Detailed/Helpful As I Can Be 🙂
Okay so I’ve watched videos and tutorials about polygel (LongHairPrettyNails on YouTube) and so i thought, looks easy enough. Now i know this isn’t Gelish or Madam Glam or Makkart but honestly after using this set, the consistency looks the same maybe a little, tiny, bit harder to work with and blend than the other polygels.I tried using nail tips and applying the polygel over them, and I followed the steps correctly but it was just too hard to manage, i litteraly spent HOURS on my nails and it just didn’t work out for me.I tried again using the dual forms and that went a lot smoother than nail tips. I tried to do an ombré effect but the product isn’t easy to blend, it’s possible but i don’t want to spend all that time blending it.✅ Pros• Dual forms worked out great• Base coat worked great after curing and wiping with alcohol• Top coat worked out great, didn’t wipe• Colors were perfect• The price for everything that was included i think can not be beat• Brush was great• Slip solution was great• Smooth when dusk forms came off• Strong polygel not weak• Glossy Top coat• Easy to file• Pretty gel colors❌ Cons• Nail file was bad, the dust was the color of the nail file and would get everywhere, into nail gel, it was annoying, even under my nail tips on the sides when i tried to file them down a bit, used my Makkart nail file instead• Polygel isn’t the EASIEST to work with but it’s manageable, learning curve, it’s doable but idk• My brush came broken, the brush side of it slid out but i just glued it back with nail glue• It’s MESSY, wear gloves if you can, maybe on one hand or idk it litteraly gets everywhere, make sure you have a neat and clean place to do your nails, if it gets on anything just use alcohol to get it offAs a result, I feel like I’ve struggled enough to figure it out and i don’t think it’s horrible quality, honestly all the polygel brushes look similar anyways, i don’t think there is a real or fake polygel i mean madam glam’s consistency looked similar I’d not a bit more runny, not like Gelish. I’ve never used them, just an observation from YouTube vids. Sorry this is long, just didn’t think it had enough reviews in detail. Would i recommend it kinda yea why not? To try it out, practice, looks good, it’s strong, easy to file. I’m sure once i get the hang of it I’d love it. 3 1/2 stars overall. I’m not a bEgiNnEr beginner, but i still have a lot to learn. I might post a YouTube video about it on it, my channel, Marilyn Badra.

Watch videos if you're a beginner. They really help!
I'm a beginner and followed the advice of watching some YouTube videos prior to application which really helped. My first and second sets are probably not the absolute best in the world, but it's my first few seta and they look pretty good. I've already saved about 35 dollars just by not going to the salon. They set nicely with my led lamp. With practice I'll be a pro before long and will only go to the salon when I'm lazy and not feeling up to doing them myself. As for now its a great help to my resolution to save money!

DO NOT BUY..
This stuff is horrible! I have been using the dip nail system for months and never had any issues. Decided to try this and it is horrible. Difficult to use, and it destroyed my nails. Nearly 3 months now and they are finally growing back normally. This is cheap quality. I cant speak for the more expensive brands but this particular one is not good!! Be aware, it will destroy your natural nails. Spend the extra money and get better quality or just use the dip powder.

Not durable at all
I really wanted to like this, but I don't. I did a full set on nails on myself, marveled at how easy it was to do, and then as soon as I went to wash the dust from shaping them off my hands, some of the nails started popping off. I tried it again, and the same thing happened. As someone who works with their hands, durability is very important to me, and this didn't live up to my expectations at all.

You get what you pay for...
Peels off after 2 days. Professional doing nails but I've already almost used this kit up because this brand of polygel doesn't stick to the nail well. The forms were also way to small for my nails I have small hands too my hand is the size of a 6 year old and the dual forms in this kit were too small. They also do not send nearly enough slip in this kit.

I'm impressed
First time working with poly-gel! I'm pretty impressed I must say! Takes a little getting used to, it's diffently different to work with vs acrylic or gel. Pros are you have plenty of time to shape it and it's not as loose as gel. Cons were very minor, the thumb was too small so I had to use one from a different nail kit and I didn't like the nail file. Other than that, well worth the money! 👍

Just say NO
This stuff is so sticky and hard to manage. It’s not very pliable. Took forever HOURS to do my nails even with the dual forms and I’m experienced. I did my nails 4 times. Once they stayed on for 2 weeks but all the other times they started to pop in just days. All around not even a decent product. I didn’t return it because I kept trying to give it a chance for you penny savers out there but it’s just a fail.

Can’t beat the price!!
For the price of this kit it was well packaged and you get EVERYTHING you will need to see if polygel is for you! The colors are awesome. And yes polygel is not like acrylic or a hard gel it is thick that’s why you use the slip solution!! I will leave another review after I use it tomorrow to let you know how it holds up. But for the the price the packaging was awesome everything was wrapped nicely the brush seems good and you get a lot of product for the price. And the colors are very pretty even in the tube can’t wait to use!!
