Tumbl Trak Gymnastics Folding Tumbling Panel Mat

Edited to add: we have had this 2 years (roughly) and it is still very durable and great for practicing! Her tumbling has gotten more advanced and thus she's fallen more. It still absorbs her falls well!My daughter is a competitive cheerleader, but at 6 years old, she is still learning the tumbling fundamentals that go with the cheer world. After receiving multiple referrals to this mat, we decided to spring for it. We went with the 1 3/8 in, because again, it was suggested to be the better of the two. The 2 in (although it doesn't seem to be that different) is said to be not as firm, and firmness is needed in tumbling. First, shipment was crazy fast. We ordered on a Saturday, it was here Monday morning. It is easy to maneuver around. It is big enough to do any standing tumbling on, but small enough to easily store. The quality is insane. It is very different from the cheaper versions out there---you can tell this was made to stand the test of time. I also love that it has the ability to be safely and securely attached to other mats to make a longer tumbling track (which is perfect for practicing tumbling sequences). If you are worried about safety with the 1 3/8, my daughter doesn't always land her tumbling, and has not been injured nor said anything about it hurting when she does "fall".

My daughter plays and practices for yours. She loves this, best thing is it can grow as she does; it has Velcro sides so additional pieces can be purchased and added for more tumble and protected area. I heard this size does does not wear down as easily or fast, it provides our 9 year old with just enough support and protection she needs, we all love it. It folds and stores out of the way when not in use. Highly recommend this beautifully colored tumbling mat.

Great mat! It’s really great but the only thing that would make it nicer is non skid bottom.

I recently bought this for my daughter and she loves it. As a former competitive gymnast & then coach's assistant I'm pretty picky when it comes safety equipment.This mat works does exactly what a good mat should do- have enough thickness to soften a fall, while staying firm enough to handle short practice passes. (If you want a longer track you can always buy one more, as they are built to Velcro together.)A definite thumbs up from me!Hope that helps!~JB

This is an awesome tumbling mat or cartwheel mat. It can be used for many purposes. Very well made. Looks fantastic Amazing quality. This can be folded and used for height to practice other gymnastic moves. Doesn't get much better for the budding young gymnast at home! Tired of seeing little one bounce and bump her way through the house, decided this year would be a good one to start setting up an area for her to practice safely and efficiently whenever she'd like. This is a hard-core pro quality mat! Surprised by how thick and supportive the cushion really is, I've been using it for our workouts, yoga etc as well! Don't hesitate; this Tumbl Mat will serve you well and last long!

Wonderful! Excellent quality, but an expensive purchase. We purchased the 5ft x 10ft x 2in. Great for 14 year old doing gymnastics every single day. Wonderful for yoga/conditioning as well. Would also be very useful for people with babies and toddlers--great coverage for the floor in case of messy accidents, learning how to walk, and even great padding for parents and grandparents to sit on "floor" and play with the kids and grandkids! We've only had this about 2 weeks, but the quality seems amazing so far with hours of use every day during summer break! Recommend! Excellent quality, seem pretty pro to me. My daughter loves it and its up to the standard she uses in gym classes. Folds well and you can buy additional and join them to create longer tracks.

A great addition to our gymnastics practice equipment. The mat folds and slides perfectly out of the way. Although my daughter seems to practice more than it is folded away. A very reasonable price.

I ordered 3 (4'x6'x2") of these when they were on sale and they are awesome, at full price it would be pricey, saved almost $100 during the sale. The thinner mat sale was slightly better, but I did not want the thinner mat. They are just soft enough to be gentle on the joints and to cushion any fall, but they are not a crash mat. They are hard enough to do cart wheels, round offs, front and back walk overs and soon flips. My 2 girls 7 and 11 years old love them. I had a friend order 3 more as the limit was 3 per person so I have 4 to 6 of these set up at a time for them to tumble on. I did find out that the Velcro attachment strip is on the short side only. The long side has no Velcro as I will have to add some as I set these up 2 or 3 wide so when my kids fall sideways they are still on the mat and not the floor. When these were first opened there was a slight odour but it was mainly from the bags they were shipped in and once those were disposed of, the slight smell went away quickly, no need to air them out. I attached a couple pictures as my kids love to have these set up while watching TV and with the large area I make sure they practice far away from the TV so no risk of injury. I am very impressed and would recommend these, especially when they are on sale.
