We bought this ball for home because it's the same ball my son's club uses. It's a high quality ball. I wouldn't recommend it as a first ball for younger children - there are some lighter and softer options (Molton first touch, and tachikara soft touches as an intermediate ball). But these are great balls and it's great to be able to practice and pepper with the same ball as used in tournaments.

This ball is very well made. It is quite soft and doesn't hurt the arms making it easy to practice with. My son who complained that volleyball hurts him and has quit learning, is now wanting to practice with his sister everyday. I love this ball and recommend it for new learners.

Great volleyball for youth girls

Great feel, texture, weight, and response! It really does behave like a FLISTATEC even though it doesn't have the fancy pro texture. I can actually teach my kids skills and proper technique and they can expect it to behave consistently. You don't get a proper pass technique with cheap balls because those don't behave the same as a good volleyball like this. This is a great light ball!
