Superbright, but shut off during ride.
Superbright light. Makes cyclist very visible. HOWEVER, during my 25 mile ride, the light SHUT OFF by itself, leaving me with NO REAR LIGHT and unaware until I stopped riding. It still had a charge and was working when I turned it back on. I will try again to see if same thing happens, but I will have a second back-up light just in case. I'm giving it three stars because it's no good if it doesn't work, and given the cost, it should hold a charge better than that.

On my crutches (daylight)--very bright. Mounted fine. Battery life not measured yet.
I have this on one of my forearm crutches (having it on both crutches would be an overkill). I don't go out on crutches at night (unless I had to for some reason). This light is to alert people when I go in stores etc., so I have fewer incidents of people not seeing I'm on crutches and bumping into me (if I fell down I would be unable to get up without a lot of help).I have another brand of rear light that uses coin cells because I can imagine the rechargeable battery in this light running out when I have no way to recharge it at that time and place. So I was carrying a packet of the coin cells for the non-rechargeable crutch lights. I finally decided that situation would not likely occur in the relatively short time I spend in stores, and anyway it would not be critical. When I got this light, I saw that it is very much brighter than my coin cell light, so I have switched to this for my crutches. I had no problems mounting it (using a screwdriver to adjust the aim). I do not yet have experience with the battery duration. I can easily charge it at home if necessary before going out.

Great light for both day and night visibility.
I bought this light because of the strap mounting system. My current lights (Cygo) use a fixed seat post mount and the light slides in to the mount from the top. This works fine on my road bikes but on my all road/gravel bike I use a seatbag and a seatpost mounted rear fender. This makes it impossible to mount and remove my fixed mount lights without removing the bag every time. Too much of a hassle so I bought this light with the strap mount thinking it would be easier to remove for charging. It does make attaching and removing the light easier but this light has the on/off /mode switch on the top which makes turning the light on and off difficult without removing the light so I traded one hassle for another. I've finally gave up on my saddlebag and opted for a smaller one that barely holds a tube and CO2 but at least I can run a tail light now. I've used the Cygolite Hot Shot for several years and it is a very high quality light. This CECO light is every bit as good in terms of quality and I like the flash patterns better. I always get comments on my Cygolite about how visible it is in broad daylight and I can say the the CECO is every bit as bright and the price was about half. The Cygolite on/off button is on the front of the light, making it a bit harder to turn on while riding. With the on/off button on the top, the CECO light is easier to turn on while riding the bike. I will definitely buy another one or two of these lights and I am very impressed with the quality and functionality. Super value and I highly recommend this light for both day and night time use.

Immediate attention getter
The rear light is more important than the front. This light is 100 lum and the lense effectively concentrates beam. The only improvement would be a bracket mount and quick release. Current mount is an easy theft. A bright light guaranteed to get the ire of a SOV driver pissed off at people reducing thier carbon footprint. UPDATE: I check the light during my morning commute. The actual LED itself is red and it flashes in the clear lens. So definitely flashing red.

Tough and Great Battery life
This little thing has various flashing modes lasting from 17-35 hours. The 4x mode is greatly on off-rhythm pulse, which draws attention to drivers. You can use the other modes, like the low intensity group ride mode, but I mostly ride alone...4x mode is just the only one I use. It is visible 180 degrees. The mount is strong, and allows pitch/cant, and will fit thick seat posts and slim seat stays; you'll need a phillips SD for adjust it. The only thing that CECO needs to do is create a clip-on mount for use on clothing or backpacks, etc. The California Equipment Co. has done a great job with this little light.

It Really Rocks - Highly Visible
I've owned too many rear bike lights over time. They either crap out, are not waterproof...etc. This one is great so far. I really luv the high visibility in daylight and the screaming flash options. These days I ride a Gravel Bike [it replaced my road and mountain bike hands down] and need a light for the trek to the trailheads from various parking patches. The light can be adjusted or turned off easily. I do wish for more mounting options as the best place for me is the seat tube. Mounting on anything thinner and it may end up in the woods. It's not a deal killer and truthfully its one of the best lights I've owned!

Great light for front or rear
This is my 2nd TC Bike Series light I've purchased. It blows away the others I've tried over the years. I have the T-100 on a Rad Rover Electic Bike that I often use in low light conditions. I'm sure that it keeps me noticed and also have one on my wifes E-Bake as well. When my wife is in front I use the reduced lighting mode because the light is so bright. When mounted on <towards> the front it keeps those drivers from making left turns into your path.

Did not add headlight it looks too bulky
The product is bright and works well. A tail light is essential for commuting for both daytime and night time riding. I have owned 20 different tail lights and this is as good as any of them. As I have multiple bikes I like to have one for each bike and not to constantly switch them out. Price is reasonable too!
