Cut and Run

This is for the book and Audible. I would give the Audible 10 stars if I could. It was excellent. I read this book AFTER the book about Macy and knew I needed to read this book as soon as I could. Luckily it was on sale a few days ago and I started reading it immediately. I was already reading a Sherlock and Lucy James book but I sat that aside to read this book as soon as I got my new Fire Tablet. What a inauguration.Faith and Hayden are a fantastic non-couple. And Kat was also a great character. All the main characters are great and I know some already have their own books which I will read as soon I can. I hate to read books out of order but the books of Mary Burton are so wonderful that I cannot wait to read them. And this book is the best of the best. Her plotlines are very deep sometimes, such as this main storyline about what happened 30 years earlier. Did not see that ending coming. But you have to read this book, WITH the Audible, and judge for yourself.I feel like I am still full of adreline. I am writing this review right after finishing the book. I ran the power down on this tablet down to 16%. Had to finish it tonight. Could not wait till tomorrow. Get this book and Audible immediately. You will not be sorry. Looking forward to reading future reviews to see how other readers feel.Now I need to decompress. After posting this review on other sights.

I love the profiler series. I love the suspense, and the story lines are so good! Mary Burton is a fabulous author! I've been recommending her books to everyone I talk about books to.

As always, Mary has wowed me again. I LOVE her books! And I am ready to read more of them!

Great story with lots of twists. I enjoyed the characters. Felt like the book needed a better editor. Quite a few awkward sentences that just needed a tweak. The bit where Macy emerged from her coma speaking garbled language that"may take a while to come back" and then immediately starts speaking in sentences was problematic. These are minor in a good story but worth noting as the awkward sentences had me stopping to reread and sort them out. I want a book that pulls me in deeper, not one that makes me stop to reread. I'll try another book by this author.

This was my second book my Mary Burton and it will probably be my last. ust too dark of subject matter for me but I did like the love between the fmc and MC and the happy ending after all the sadness of the crimes

I finished the book but in my opinion, it fell short of twists or turns that keeps a reader reading.

Very good read. 👍🏽Had my full attention. So give this one a chance. Stand alone read as well. I'm going to read some other work from Mrs. Burton

It got me hooked right from the start and I couldn’t put it down. I liked the main characters, they were sympathetic with their imperfections. The story moved from the past to the present in a manner that made sense and was easy to follow. The pace was suspenseful and although I figured out the bad guy, I still really enjoyed the book.

Wow fantastic story. Started reading and thought mmm this books not for me, then suddenly I was trapped by the authors words. I then couldn’t put down the book and look forward to reading more of her books. Such an intriguing and believable story line of corruption and evil. Well worth a read.

I am fast finding Mary to be a favourite author.Her books have suspence, action, believable characters & story line runs smoothly. I find myself wanting to jump ahead to find what is going to happen,but I don't I don't want to spoil the anticipation
