BRICKED LAPTOP!
Totally Disappointed. Others have reported success with this battery,but my experience is the opposite with my Aspire R7-572 Laptop:1. Battery arrived with only a 2% charge: Probably a danger sign but the computer did startup.2. After startup windows reported 2% charge & 2 minutes to full charge: Probably a second danger sign so I turned off computer to give time for more charging.3. Restarted after an hour; windows reported 20% charge & 2 minutes to full charge: The 2 minutes to full charge was concerning so turned off for more charging.4. Restarted after two more hours; windows reported 44% charge & 2 minutes to full charge: Always 2 minutes to full charge.5. After another hour restart failed. Power button did nothing at all.6. Reinstalled the old battey which allowed the power button to light one led on the first attempt to start the computer. All subsequent attempts to start the laptop with either battery produced no response - BRICKED LAPTOP!Maybe I got the odd faulty battery; & maybe you'll get the odd battery that will destroy your computer. This was my Wife' favorite computer. Needless to say She's not happy.You DIYers might want to look for a battery with a longer track-record of success. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.
