Fits a standard Weber kettle grill perfectly. Place directly over coals. Very well made & sturdy. I use a knife to pre-pierce the meat & veggies before sliding them on the skewers. You don’t have to, but it makes it neater & quicker for me.

These skewers have been awesome for cooking koobideh. We’re glad they don’t have handles on them — makes them easier to clean and dry. Just gotta use oven mitts to lift from grill. The machining is clean with no burrs. For the question asked above, these skewers are not precisely 1” wide (see photo), but that is not an issue for us.

We could hardly ask for more! As a novice in Persian cooking, I did my research and found that "real" cooks use the flat kabobs without handles for ease. These were a delight to use! Make no mistake, these are borderline weapons so please be careful when you open the difficult clear plastic container (a danger in itself). The included scraper tool was a nice touch. We did not need anything special to clean these in our farmhouse sink. I was so happy with our beef and lamb koobideh.The only con: I wish the seller included some kind of heavy canvas/vinyl storage bag. These are tough to store in an American kitchen with curious toddlers. I ended up putting them in my chef's knife roll for the time being. Other cheaper options (with wooden handles) included freebie storage bags.

These skewers are very well made & sturdy. Our son purchased skewers with wood handles that are nice but they’re not close to the quality of these skewers. We’re very satisfied with this purchase.

These are really nice. They don’t bow and an sos pad got them shiny clean.
