Worked like a charm
I gave these a shot after striking out with several brands of "blackout" curtains for my son's nursery. These were a great purchase because I could keep the existing (cute, but not room darkening) curtains and still achieve a darkened room during the day. They were super easy to install, and I absolutely notice a difference in the draftiness of the windows when I have them closed. The only reason I removed one star from my rating is because they didn't offer the length options I needed for my windows - so I'll either have to bunch them up in the window sill or have them tailored at some point.

Great for black out and heat blocking
Really like these, for how well try work they’re a steal. They hook easily into curtain rings, between tabs or grommets, and can be hemmed with stitch tape, or honestly just cut to the size you want, it won’t fray. If you want to get fancy, sew it to the sides and top of the curtains you like and you’ll have a decent blackout Curtain. keeps a room noticeably cooler. These help you make a cheap “light filtering” curtain onto a light-blocking, full privacy drape, for half the price of a proper drape.

Flaking mess
I bought these about 18 months ago. They are dimming, not light blocking. They are now flaking and leaving a white powder over everything.

To much light
I wanted room darkening liners as our neighbor has his outdoor spotlight going right into our window. I could find the right size. Wish I could bought curtain tieback at the same time.

Not the best, but not horrible
The way these curtains hang they do not block out the light around the edges of the window. For $25 a piece you need 2 toCover a standard bedroom window and I think $50 is pretty outrageous. I would shop around.

They work wonderfully
Wasn’t sure these would work but they are exactly what I needed. Block out light and sound. And super easy to hang behind your curtains.
