Alberto Cardinali Men's Solid Color V-Neck Sweater Vest

The product arrived damaged. The thread around the coller is popped and half the coller is unattached from the sweater. Product was like this out of the package and shipped in this condition. Not happy at all.

Material is good. A bit heavier than I would have liked, but perfect for winter months. The hitch is that the sizing chart provided for this product is off. I am all of the XL sizes to a T on the sizing chart, so I ordered XL sweater vests. They are too small by far. I feel like a sausage inside of them.So if you order these, round up a size from whatever you would be on the sizing chart.

Great quality, great fit size up one size. Washed once still retained shape. Bought 3x because I usually fit 2x, would order another one in the near future.Update*** This is my second purchase from this company the first one I bought was navy blue and the second was burgundy. So I liked the product so much I bought two vest. I just had to confirm the purchases.

Nice weight to it and it looks nice. I got the light gray which is darker than it is pictured. I would describe it close to a heather gray like old school sweatshirt gray. I wished it was a bit lighter color but otherwise it is nice. The thread used has dark specs in it, so there are almost black flecks of color on this randomly. I first thought it was fuzz or an errant thread but it is in the sweater. I am not sure if that will bother me or not. For the price I have zero complaints, I wear a shirt and tie everyday so this will work nicely with that.

Based on other reviews that I read, I ordered, XXL. I am 6'1" and 230. It over hangs the point of my shoulder about an inch and a half on each side (the reason I only gave it four stars) and two hand-spands below my belt which I like. It came 8 days ago and I have worn it every day since it came. A charcoal-Gray, looks good a with both my rain coat or a blazer. It just shows the knot of my tie. We are having heavy rain and cold, its keeping me warm. I like it enough that I have ordered another in Burgundy. I am tempted to order in XL to see how the sizing compares.This is the second Burgundy that I ordered, the first, from two years (?) ago, arrived seeming as if it was someone else's old used sweater and I sent it back. I recently ordered another in Burgundy and have now worn it half a dozen times. It looks good and feels ok, showing a bit more of my tie, but just does not seem as well made as the original grey sweater that I received a couple of years ago.I am still pleased with the Grey one that I purchased, but recently I have been alternating it with the burgandy, due to cold, rainy weather. I noticed that the Burgandy, which I have worn less than two dozen times, is now sort of disintegrating after only 3 weeks. I through away the shipping stuff last week thinking that I was happy, I suspect that this will be going to the recycling bin before I need to wash it.

The sweater itself is of an acceptable quality, however the sizing proportions are weird and unlike any other sweater vest I've owned. I am a size 2X and the 2X sweater was slightly smaller than expected but was workable. However, the width of the sweater at the shoulders was obscenely excessive. The sweater poked out several inches on both shoulders. It would have been a fantastic sweater had I been about 6 inches wider in the shoulders. I am not a small person by any standard, so this anomaly struck me as particularly odd. Luckily, I was able to return the sweater for free and was not out any money.

Waste of money! Do not purchase! Sweater vest started to unravel at the neck. The ribbing pulled away from the sweater. Since item was washed and wore ONCE, I am not eligible to return it. You get what you pay. This is a lousy excuse for a sweater vest. My Dad was very disappointed.

I was very happy with the look and fit of this sweater vest (I actually purchased two). Unfortunately, by the end of my first day wearing it the sweater was showing some wear where your arms move as well as across the stomach area where my desk would be (and I don't have a gut). When I washed it the sweater didn't shrink or run at all (a plus!!) but it was pilling. I'm still wearing it, but not for anything really nice anymore as it looks like it's been worn over 1000x and it's only been about 4x. For the 55% Cotton 45% Polyester mix this shouldn't happen. Very disappointed!!
