Wildfowler Outfitter Men's Waterproof Parka The perfect parka for deer hunters, it has a zipper front and buttondown storm flap; Velcro on the cuffs; a hood with elastic draw cord; front pouch pockets with side hand warmer; and an elastic draw cord on the hem. WILDFOWLER OUTFITTER: A Lifelong Commitment to Waterfowling In 1950 a tenyearold boy became a hunter on a cold, blustery day on Lake Hazel near Benson, Minnesota. Concealment in those days consisted of brown clothing and any natural cover you could find. We built a variety of boat blinds (some actually worked) and always had a bale of marsh grass to cover up with in the boat. In the 1970s, camouflage clothing became readily available and somewhat affordable. In 1998 WILDFOWLER OUTFITTER was founded, building its original Goose Decoy Blind and soon developed a line of lightweight camouflage parka and pants. Soon a Layout Blind was added to the product line, along with a few more patterns in the Cover Up Suit. In the spring of 2003 we moved our production facilities and expanded our manufacturing capabilities. We made improvements to our existing lines, adding additional products, including an exciting line of Waterproof Cover Up Suits. Today, we offer a complete family of Hunting Blinds, Blind Accessories, and Camouflage Clothing. We are known as "the concealment specialists" and continue to provide the waterfowl hunter with the best concealment products for the best value. That was the goal when Wildfowler Outfitter began, and it will continue to be our guide as we move into the future.

Quality Product At Fair Price
This is a lightweight rain parka which is of good quality, good fit, at a reasonable price. Quality was better than expected at this price point, convinced me I need not need to spend $200 plus for a name brand gortex. Would buy again.

Great coat
This is the 2nd coat I purchased. The first one was an accident a few years ago. It had become too small for me. I like this coat so much I searched to find it. I love that it fits me and is attractive enough many compliments are recieved while wearing it.my first coat I will be washing and putting away in hopes I lose the weight and can fit in it again. I love that I can layer with this coat.

Good value! Thicker than expected.
Just what I was looking for - a grass camo rain jacket to fit over my coat when hunting. Why spend hundreds on a nice camo coat when you have a nice coat already? Just add the camo!I thought this would be a thin nylon shell, but the material is thicker, warmer, and more robust than I expected. It reminds me a little of thin neoprene in the way it feels? It has no batting/insulation beyond this thick material, but It does have a mesh inside to keep the shell off your skin/shirt.I did test the waterproofing, and it beads off well. The camo pattern is very detailed and well printed.Overall, seems to be a good value.

Pleasantly surprised! Great jacket
Went to Montana for an Elk hunt and we got a unexpected heavy snowstorm, mid teen temperatures in the mornings. This jacket stayed dry, very warm, and quiet. It’s very similar to a snowboarding jacket. Not very thick, but surprisingly warm with a base layer under it. Couldn’t have asked for more and the price makes it all the better. Great product.

It's a good coat. Blocks wind. Great for hunting.
So far so good. I have the boreal shirt from Lester River Bushcraft. It's a heavy wool sweatshirt and it's the best piece of gear I own but it don't stop the wind. I bought this jacket to do just that as a windbreaker and it does its job well. A great combination for late season hunting. Kinda wish I bought the white one though.

The cuff problem is real.
I read the reviews of the cuff issues and thought, "how bad can it be." Well it is a poor design. There is so much excess material on the wrists the Velcro isn't long enough to tighten it to level needed for a "rain coat" to keep your forearms dry. The Velcro also tightens the wrong direction leaving the strap pointed up on the inside part of your wrists. It is quiet. It is rainproof. The hood is not removable, but I didn't mind as it was just as comfortable having it zipped up tight with or without the hood. I'm not sure I'm going to send it back yet, but I'd say you can probably do better for money.

THEY Fit perfect
The pockets were perfect and liner was better than I anticipated. White they washed up well. They're in the tub and stored for next snowgoose season or coyote hunting
