We have a permanent weather station at home but always take a portable one with us if we go away to help us record temperatures. We're not sad muppets, meteorology is a hobby of ours!We bought this to replace one that recently gave up the ghost after four years. So far very happy with it. Very easy to set up and the screen is clear and easy to read with a very bright 20 second back light.I'll hold on giving a comment on the forecast symbol as it hasn't settled down yet - it's showing a big fat sun, whereas we've had rain, hail and sleet all day and it's forecast to stay that way all day!Recommend it.

Outside sensor very position sensitive to get correct temperature. Always reads high during day compared to my Bresser weather station but same in evening/night

Not to big easy to read

like the size of the thermometer and like to check it out before going out the door.in Glasgow area recently it has read temperatures outside over 100 degrees.today it is 50 0utside and 70 inside.when warm weather the outside controller is a black box which absorbs the suns rays,a bit like your car sitting in the street and with no breeze it can give 100+ readings .would be more accurate if sensor was white plastic to reflect suns rays.

This weather station is just great. It works away in the background and is ready with all the information you need.So easy to set up and easy to read the information as well.The outdoor part is very well sealed and withstands all weather conditions. It’s small enough that it doesn’t stand out and be too noticeable but is there with your weather info when needed.The indoor part looks smart. We have it on our windowsill and it looks great. During the day you can read the info in big writing and at night you have the back light to brighten up the screen making it readable.You have 3 channels to work from with the outdoor and indoor sections. You can go from oC to oF if you wish and shows you daily hogs and lows, it even lets you know the cloud cover.Such a simple thing but carries everything you could want from a weather station.Would highly recommend

Over the years I've had quite a few of these weather stations. All I really want is something to tell me the temperature outside and inside accurately, and this fits the bill perfectly. Some of the others I've had have offered more complicated readings which I didn't really care about. This though was simple to set up and does just as I want it to. Comparing the readings with the weather forecasts predictions of temperature I'd say this was spot on correct. It was easy to set up and doesn't look cheap at all.. So, if all you want to know is the temperature outside and in, plus humidity, then I recommend this. If you want a weather station that does more then you'll pay more.
