This little hand gripper is brilliant!Prior to purchasing this product, I had another similar grip exerciser, however it lacked the ability to adjust the tension. I found myself being able to squeeze it around 40+ times, and felt it wasn't doing much.Then I saw this product. Its cheap price, coupled with the good reviews led me to the decision of giving it a punt. I wasn't disappointed! I am currently using it at approximately 20kg tension and it proves to be a bigger challenge than my older one. Considering the fact I still have 20kg by which to increase the tension, I can safely say this is a product that I will use for many years (provided it holds up that long).All things considered, this is a great little product to increase grip strength while lounging. I highly recommend it for all!

Not at all comfortable to use and definitely not something you could use for reliable consistency. Even though the tension can be adjusted to quite a high level of resistance it still nevertheless retains a sponginess once you've squeezed past a certain point. Flex in plastic structure is another issue which exacerbates this sponginess. The rubber hand grip is also an issue: in that under repeated squeezeing pressure it begins to stick to your skin, opening up the potential for blisters. Totally the wrong material to use on a part designed for hands to squeeze repetitively. It would seem that this particular model is fairly ubiquitous but rebranded for different sellers and I can't help but think that most just end up in the bin. If you've ever tried a proper hand grip exerciser you'll know just how bad this generic piece of rubbish is. Oh, and you only get one - not a pair! Ha! How ridiculous is that?!

The 40kg upper resistance limit is nowhere near accurate.This product hasn't broken yet but it's being used on its lowest setting to aid someone trying to build strength in their fingers after surgery.There are so many reviews with pictures of broken grips. I don't expect this product will last long.I bought two of these, one for myself and the resistance compares very poorly to someone else's grip I know which goes up to 40kg too and is really hard to squeeze. These are really easy and not challenging at all and my hand grip strength is average at best - this one compares to approx 20kgs of resistance, not 40kg.

the one i was using broke immediately on the first attempt to use and sent the broken piece flying across the wall, even denting my wall a bit.Maybe mine was just really low quality though since the rest of it looked good.Had to return mine but the customer service was great and responded fast.

i have used this daily in my car (while stuck in traffic, not moving!) for the past year and it has made a noticeable difference in my hand & lower forearm strength. The adjustable tension is great and I have moved all the way from the easiest setting to the hardest.The only downside is the handle could be made from a different material, the rubber tends to grip enough to give you friction but not enough to stop movement so you can end up sore fingers when using it for sustained amount of time. Regardless, i would still recommend this to everyone from all ages.

Worked OK at first although it never fitted into my left hand as comfortably as my right. After a while the grip material started disintegrating though, it's now leaving a black residue over my hands every time I use it

Broke after 2 weeks of moderate daily use. Didn’t have it on highest resistance either.The entire durability depends on that small ring by the resistance screw. It feels like plastic...If this is your first hand grip strengthener then this would be fine to use before spending real money

Having become concerned about the poor strength of my grip and having researched online I purchased two Power Grip Exercisers (one for me and one for my partner) and am very glad I did. In just a couple of weeks, having used the PGE on a daily basis, both of us have noticed dramatic improvements. Before purchasing I had tried to improve my grip using small, rubber exercise balls but did not really notice any benefit from those. I wholeheartedly recommend the PGE - it's effective and I think very reasonably priced.
