I woke up a week ago on a Sunday morning unable to walk. Peripheral neuropathy. Balance gone. Fire & pins and needles in my extremities. I’ve now been in therapy for a week. Very bad place, BUT I just copped these buggers and they’ve really improved my comfort and my hassles trying to put on shoes when you can’t feel your hands.Easy slip in, very comfortable and stable. Whoever designed these shoes had a purpose in mind and they hit it right on the nose.

The shoes are great as are most Sketcher products. However I found these run small. I normally wear a size 10 so that’s what I ordered. I could barely get them on and they were very tight. Recommend customer order a shoe a half size larger then normal size.Update to above review: As I suggested above, order these shoes a half size bigger then you normally wear. I sent back the size 10 and reordered the 10.5 and they arrived today. Much easier to slip on then the size 10, and more comfortable. Will still take some breaking in as most new shoes do, but they’re already more comfortable.

Love they have no laces and just slip on. One factor for me was im a 10.5 size and had to go a full size down to a 9.5 since they ran big and seemed to fall off since they weren't snug enough while walking or doing gym workouts for basic fitting not wide fitting, just something to keep in mind, able to replace old size for smaller and they fit great now and im happy, wanna get more pairs in different colors now. The memory foam inside is so comfortable and feels like you can be on your feet all day.

UPDATE 06/19/24 -- Just now this Wednesday, UPS dropped off replacement pair (I had only requested exchange late Sunday night 06/16/24). Closely inspected this pair & all stitching looks to be in good order. So HOO RAY for Amazon & UPS (but still a slight side-frown to Skechers . . .)ORIGINAL REVIEW - - I've worn Skechers sneaks for a few years now -- reliable fit, do come in extra-wide, memory foam makes them comfy (which counts a lot, on old feet).If you look at my pictures, I'm disappointed with this pair -- delivered Tuesday 6/11/24, & Sunday 6/16/24 the stitching is already coming apart. Thought I'd try some laceless "elastic fit" Skechers this time, and this stitching is the Anchor point for the lowest elastic strap (inner side of Right shoe) -- so it's kind of IMPORTANT. That's right at the ball of the foot, so without that elastic snugness there, the front of the foot slips around in the toe box.As you can see in the pictures, the stitching is still a continuous loop -- it's not a case that I scuffed or scraped it & broke the stitching -- it just flat came undone, in FIVE DAYS !!I will be asking Amazon for an exchange, & do assume it will be allowed -- the irksome thing is, I ordered these specifically for a short trip this coming weekend (6/21/24) that will entail quite a bit of walking. I ordered a week and a half ahead, to be sure they'd get here (I live a ways past the "Sticks," out in the "Boonies") -- not sure UPS can manage to ship back & new ones out here by Thursday afternoon, so I can leave as scheduled early FridayI'm vexed . . . . I'm very, very vexed . . . .

I'm 69 years old and I have always had trouble finding comfortable slip-on shoes because I have a high instep and wide foot which makes it difficult to find slip-on shoes that are large enough at the top to allow me to get my foot in them and at the same time not so large that they are loose once my foot is inside. I liked the idea of a shoe without laces with just built in elastic straps where laces would normally go. I take a size 9.5 in some shoes and a size 10 in others so I decided to buy a size 10 x-wide and see how they were. They went on fairly easy although I still needed to use a shoe horn but once on they were really comfortable but a tad loose. My wife talked me into buying another pair in size 9.5 x-wide and they are virtually perfect. I still need a shoehorn but my foot went in easily and they are wide enough and fit snug but not too tight. I walk a couple of miles every day and I usually have to stop and sit for a minute or two because my lower back begins to get sore. I was hoping the pain was caused by the old Reebok tennis shoes I've been wearing and I think maybe that was the cause. Right from the start of my walk with the Skechers I could feel the difference. They are light and supportive and I was able to get through my walk without stopping. Very encouraging. Time will tell if they remain as comfortable and supportive as they do now but for the price they are an incredible value. Highly recommended!

Hubby didn't want to wear them at first. (needs tie-up laces lol) At such a good price I convinced him to at least try them around the house and see how they feel.Well, he loves them and says they are really comfortable.A good shoe for the price.
