Zote is the perfect solution for cleaning even the toughest makeup products from your brushes!I use an extensive array of makeup brushes for work. Cleaning all the makeup off and out of them can be frustrating, especially when using cream and cream to powder products. Just dampen the bar of zote and swipe the bridal back and forth over the bar, covering the brush hairs and rinse…*( I use a textured brush cleaning pad in the rinsing process.)

These are big bars and it should last a long time. In fact we have one on the "slop sink" by the washter and we use it also to watch our hands.

They do a great job cleaning my makeup brushes. I do not care for the smell.

I love the smell

This is a good base for my "diy" laundry detergent. One shredded bar of Zote (citronella scent), 1 c. Borax, 1 c. Washing Soda, 1 gallon hot water, mix/stir well in 5 gal bucket (with lid) using a long paint mixing stick. Set overnight. Mix in 2 gallons hot water. Fill your empty laundry detergent bottle with 1/2 of the above Zote soap mixture & 1/2 water (1to 1 ratio). Always shake bottle before pouring in 1 cup per washload. Washes my clothes clean. Inexpensive.I always add my "diy" fabric softener to the softener dispenser in washer, for soft clothes, leaves no detergent residew. 3c. White vinegar, 2c. Hair conditioner (healthy type), & 6 cups water. About 1/4 cup per load.

This is absolutely fantastic in laundry! It took out old stains and my whites are noticeably whiter! I just wet a wash cloth, suds it up and throw that into the washing machine along with regular detergent (yes I still use regular detergent with it) if I have a very bad stain, I rub the slightly dampened soap onto the spot directly before washing. Not a fan of the scent but you can’t smell it after the wash.

The scent, quality and easy to use. I make my own liquid laundry soap using this soap.
