Works fine, not perfect. Good value.
Good:- The temperature from the thermocouple was within a degree of my thermometer (assuming both are then accurate). - The thermowell is really nice (be aware the hole for the airlock in #7 stopper is small, only the tapered end of the airplock fit.Bad:- The controller interface is a pain and not intuitive or easy to use/set.- The blue plug head is universal and is actually difficult to plug in and remove the american 2-prong plug head (though I suppose that I now don't have to worry about falling out...)

Game Changer
Works great. Easy to set up. Instructions are correct. One use said they needed an adapter, not true. It has a UNIVERSAL adapter that will take a US 110 plug IF you look closely. For the money it is perfect. It's too cold for distiller's yeast to activate effectively in my basement. I need to be around 85ยฐ F for shining. I wrapped a blanket around the carboy to help retain the heat. The bung fits jus fine. Bubble bubble bubble. After rereading the instructions and setting this up correctly, I have zero complaint.P1 = desired tempP2 = time delay before cyclingP3 = slew variance (degree variance window)Lets see how it does after a few months. Seems solid enough for homebrew.

So far, so good
Haven't used to make wine yet but tried it out for a dry run and looks like will work well. It took a little time to figure out the instructions but managed to wade my way through them. It turned on and off at the temps I had set. And the price is very reasonable.

Extremely accurate.
This temperature control does the job and does it well. My only 2 complains is that there's no real way to fasten the heating element to your fermenter or carboy. They suggest using electrical tape to hold it in place. I used an elastic band. the other complaint believe it or not, it's noisy. The control module is so accurate it holds the temperature within a tenth of a degree. Once it reaches the proper temperature the power relay in the module constantly kick on and off night and day for how ever long your fermenting giving power to the heating element.

Works great!
I first setup this temp control unit on a 6.5 gallon fermentation bucket with a modified lid to accommodate the stopper. I simply put some water in it, set the temp for 80 and threw a brew thermometer in there as well and let it sit overnight. I had this bucket in the basement where the temp sits in the upper 60's. The temp indicated on the temp controller matched the thermometer! The next day I brewed a Tropical IPA where the yeast needed to be in the mid 80's to get the fruity esters and it's been fermenting like crazy! Excellent price and quality!

Brewing game changer for my too-cold basement
I can finally brew ales in my too-cold basement in the winter! This fermentation control device works great and is reasonably priced. I just set it to whatever temp I need (in the case of my latest brew, 68 degrees) and it holds the temp. The #7 stopper fits in my Big Mouth Bubbler, and they throw in a pretty cool airlock too! You do have to wrap the heating pad around the fermenter with some removable tape (electrical is recommended; I just use masking), but that is no biggie. If you want to UP your brewing game and be able to control fermentation temps, this is a good way to go.

Minor Flaws, But Solid Function
They hold the set temperature wonderfully and have a number of settings to fine tune your fermenting temp. Itโs a little awkward to set up, as the wrap has no way to adhere to your fermentor. Pick up a roll of electrical tape for it. The plate on the temperature control unit doesnโt perfectly fit the plug for the wrap. Overlooking these minor flaws, this is a product worth buying if looking into upping your brewing. Using these on mixed culture fermentation, and they work like a charm.

Does the job
I was able to keep wine in 6 gallon glass carboy at target temperature. Good enough solution for the price. However:1. The bung does not fit well the carboy and co2 might escape from the side, not through the airlock.2.Socket in the temperature controller does not fit the heaters plug and I had to use a converter to put them together.

Excellent
Only have had this product a couple of days but so far I am singing its praises. I use to use a combination of heating pads and electric fire stoves to try and keep the room that I make my wine in at a steady temperature buy with this assembly it had my wine up to the ideal temperature within hours of starting the batch and every time i check on it the temperature has remained stable. This will make wine making in my basement that doesn't get above 17 degrees Celsius a lot easier!
