OtterBox DEFENDER Series Case for Samsung Galaxy NOTE 5 (Case Only - Holster Not Included) MELON POP

I just have used the "defender "case for about a week now...Pros: it's very good protection from double layers Fits perfectly all the ports are well exposed ,the stylus is able to go in and out with out a hitch,camera opening is perfect too Easy to put on Comes woth a built in screen protector (also Con) All ports are covered for protection Compared to the "Commuter"case by outter box ,this is thicker,heavier, and has more of a rubbery feel,not so slippery...after dropping my new phone I wanted a case that was study and very protective.Cons: the screen protector, while it's nice to have it stinks,it doesn't attach to your actual phone ,it is glued to the caseIt gets dust in side and i have taken the case off twice in attempts to clean it..I am pretty sure this will be a constant problemThere is a very strange oily look to it, at certain angles it appears to have oil on the screen,little rainbow oil marks ,I clean it ,make sure my hands are oil free and there it is again..a real flaw..certainly not keeping that onThis will not make the phone water proof ..there are openings at camers,speaker ,stylus portsThe color is strange form of pink ,it's not pretty at all and the color of the inner hard plastic is a yellow sort of white ...ugly (please make cases that are stylish colors and even a print would be nice ,I know you can do it I see you have them for the IPhone 7 ...So the end results..Will I keep this ugly pink case , only because I want the protection it offers and after trying 3 other cases this is the most protection,I gently removed the terrible screen protector and will have to purchase another one of real quality.If your listening outter box ..please please fix the colors ,get a better screen protector, for this price it would be nice

Oh how I luv this Defender box and I wish that I had owned it since day one. When I bought the Note 5, Sprint told me that Otter boxes were never made for it. They talked me into a Mophie Juice Pack case. The tops of those cases are notorious for popping off un-noticed, and after a year it didn't hold a charge anymore. Mophie has a two year warranty and has replaced the case with an XXL external battery, but then I needed a protective case because the useless Juice Pack needed to be returned. I found this item. It's fantastic. It has a built in screen protector. The phone feels totally protected and the color is what now prevents me from no longer seeing the phone when it's sitting against another black surface. At this price I would buy several if there were more color choices that would blend with my wardrobe, AND it arrived in a snap delivered to my door. It's beautifully made and allows me full access to all of the phones functions.

I probably won't ever own another type of phone case than an Otterbox. They're so incredibly protective, and I love that this particular one came with the screen protector already installed in the case. I can't ever get those stick on screen protectors to go on smoothly with no bubbles, but with this one being attached to the top of the front of the case, I didn't have to worry about that. The pink is a soft subtle medium pink color, and the light color is more of a very light mint green, which works!

I purchased this product as a replacement for the one purchased when I first got my phone a few years ago. My phone has been dropped on the floor and in my driveway. The DEFENDER did exactly what I wanted and needed it to do. DEFEND the usability and looks of my phone. As many times as I've dropped my phone, the only thing that was damaged was a very small crack on the inner hard plastic of the DEFENDER. As many times as I dropped my phone, it has absolutely ZERO scratches or marks on it. The plastic shield is extremely durable, too. Still looks brand new. Go ahead and purchase this product. You'll be glad you did.

I love it! Ive been through 5 cases with this note 5, should have just gone with an otter box in the first place! And the price was great for an otter box! Yes it is a REAL otter box! Came in orgional otter box package and yes it came with the built in screen protecter! It was super easy to put on and looks great on my phone! Well worth the money!

Of course, it's a big, bulky case, BUT I have damaged my phone with the thinner cases. This one is DEFINITELY worth it. If you want your phone to stay in great condition, or keep it from getting damaged, buy this case. Even though it's big, it still looks nice, and I won't go without it again, because I ruined a $700 phone without the right kind of case. This is worth it, for your phone's sake!!!

The otter box defender series is the only kind I buy. I have had many different phones over the years and always get the defender. I have dropped my phone one the sidewalk ect. My phone still looks like brand new when case is removed.

I really LOVE my Otterbox! It has kept my Samsung Note 5 safe through several scary dropped phone incidents and handled other rough treatment. I don't recommend rough treatment or dropping the phone but when I do, the Otterbox does it's job very well! When my next phone gets here it will have an Otterbox either waiting for it or very soon after.
