Needed a new charger for my batteries.As well as regular AA/AAAs, I have been using 18350 and 18650 3.7v Li-Ion cells for my vape stick. The Nitecore i2 charger I had for these recently stopped working so I needed a new one or I won’t be able to vape.This charger seems to fit the bill for me as it charges a wide variety of batteries. It’s an automatic affair in that it detects the type of cell and how to charge when inserted. It displays, time taken to charge, amount charged (mAh) and type of battery being charged. There’s a backlight on the display also (can be switched off if needed).Have used it on a vareity of cells and it charges as you expect it to. However, I did have an old 18650 cell that I hoped could be revived but turned out to be very discharged and couldn’t be rescued. Not the charger’s fault (attached picture of it struggling to charge the 18650 mentioned).One function I would have liked is full battery testing/diagnostics to check what their true capacities are etc. But for the amount I paid for this (circa £20) I wouldn’t have expected it. The one that I have that does this (for NiMh/NiCd only) cost me double this.Does what I need and would recommend.

Good charger works well easy to see and use if you are my age 84

I got this with the sole intention of charging 18650 batteries for my vape mods and for that purpose it has been great.I've used universal battery chargers before but normally you have to specify the type before you insert the battery. This one automatically detects the correct type as soon as its placed on the contacts.It has a nice, large, clear display that shows charging time, capacity, voltage and current charge. This makes it great for showing how healthy your batteries currently are.

Arrived on time does what it says on the tin.

Nice little CR123A battery charger, it charged the batteries in 4 hours.

Practical to use, fast, does the job

On receipt of this item I decided to charge 4 NI-Mh rechargeable batteries, so after reading the instruction leaflet I attached the mains lead and charging commenced. All went well for about seven minutes then I noticed smoke emitting from channel 3 and the charger became very hot. I switched off immediately as the unit by this time was so hot I became concerned that it would have burst into flame had I not been standing by. NOT GOOD NOT GOOD AT ALL. I know this may happen with any electronic device but I have to say my confidence in this charger has been dented, so dented in fact that I would not entertain buying another.

Vape quite heavy so always need batteries charging. This replaced an old unit that was smashed and beat up.Very quick charging and good safety features. Feels well made.
