These are great for primary and secondary fermentation. You can see what’s going on, and they’re easy to clean. The tops are sometimes hard to remove, but if you run the top under hot water it will expand and loosen up a little bit. A word of caution: Don’t pour any really hot liquids into this because it will warp.

POS ! Only a little thicker than a milk carton. The worst part is the giant hole in the lid. Funny that they don't mention that you need giant stoppers that they sell separately. Way too much for way too little! Hard pass!!

Fermonster arrived today. But dent in the shoulder. It popped out, but you can tell there used to be a dent.I wish I had read the reviews, because the thin plastic considering the price I paid is very discouraging.It would be nice to know which sized bung to order for this.There was no link to contact the seller either.

Very thin, lightweight plastic, barely supporting its own weight. The hole in the lid is far larger than standard airlock stoppers. Also take note that this set does not come with stoppers or airlocks.

I dislike how thin the plastic feels to the Fermonster. Those of us coming from using glass carboys as fermenters are not going to be put off by a slightly thicker grade of plastic, I don't understand why they chose such a thin plastic for this product.

I'm 6'0 and weigh 190. I'm not a weak or small man by any means. Nevertheless, once I got the lid on this fermenter – after starting a batch of mead – it could not be removed. I thought I would end up having to cut the thing off with a kukri knife, but opted to return it instead, lid intact. Do not buy this. I will never purchase anything from this company or this maker again: they are absolutely worthless.

Good for starting with fruit, would rather it was glass. Plastic changed under hot water!

I did not realize that a bung did not come with this vessel, and after ordering two types, none of them fit the large hole. I would choose a different item that includes the bung next time.

Naja...Für ~20 € bekommt man hier eine Flasche mit Deckel. Der beigelegte Dichtungsring für den Deckel ist zu groß und könnte nur mit 30 Minuten frickeln befestigt werden. Dreht man die Flasche zu fest zu bekommt man sie wiederum kaum noch auf.Das Deckelloch ist riesig, entsprechende Gärstopfen passen eher in Holzfässer. Diese zu beschaffen sorgt nochmal für Zusatzaufwand.Ich persönlich würde dieses Gärgefäß nicht nochmal kaufen.
