I think this book will please anyone who likes quartz. Hasa excellent color photos and tells enough to satisfy a novice collector

Good for quartz lovers, with everything of quartz interesting to me.

Husband loves Lauf and Stinchcomb books. He's gone down a list of them for a long, long time and I believe he intends to have them all!! Thank you!

Great pictues not so great information. Can get better information other places on the web without the cost of this book. Was a little disappointed.

Valuable resource book. Every collector should have this. I plan to get the rest of the series and happy to have found it.

Some of my clubmates love this book, with its pix of nicer specimens. I find it overpriced and kind of pretentious - not much in the way of identifying specimens of this most-common group of minerals.

My brother loved it, but he's a rock hound. Wonderful color pictures and everything you wanted to know about Quartz.
