Grippy!
A friend of mine gave me an orange Brain pick (The heavier orange Brain pick is excellent for a stiff plectrum, if that is your preference, while retaining all of the other positive qualities of this review) and I had to try this lighter gauge to use on guitar. I love it on guitar, but also for a lighter gauge pick on bass. (Fat Mike of NOFX uses a nylon pick that is even a bit lighter than this - it would be equivalent to the purple Brain pick). They are very much like the Jim Dunlop nylon picks except they are way grippier. The Brain pick is innovative in this grip design and I believe Snarling Dogs was the ingenuity behind its creation, though I know there are some clones now. These come in a handy tin that is pretty cool too. Overall I like the added control that I get from the grip design and my picking feels more precise. I have an injury, an old injury that has left a permanent bend to my index finger, and this grip design helps my accuracy with a pick.

Non slip
My favorite picks. They don’t slip.

Awesome - different than other Nylons - tin is unnecessary
I love Nylon picks, with Herco Holy Grails, Daddario Nylflex, and Dunlop Max-Grips being my faves. I have heard about these grippy picks with the weird name for years and finally got myself the .73 and .88 packs. I can see why people love them. They are finished very glossy and shiny and have a great tone. The famous grip also feels very natural because it’s less “raised” and more part of the pick. I will stick with my favorites only because I found these to have significantly more flex than other formulations of nylon. The same gauge is going to feel much more pliable with these than the others I mentioned above. You might love that though. Also, I wish Amazon would stock the bag packs again. These picks that come in tins are pointless, just an easy way to charge more for the same thing. You can find the bags elsewhere online.

Best guitar picks ever!
I have played guitar for the last 60 years. As I have aged I found myself gripping "smooth" picks harder which hampered my flexibility and quickness. These almost "stick like glue" and my playing has returned to what It was 20 years ago. I recommend giving them a try!

Been playing for over 30 years. These are the best for durability and grip. Can't remember dropping one. Always played 73s
